It's reflected in the top 15 not having a #15.
They aren't fighting each other, most aren't even fighting, just getting older.
Hopefully things heat up towards the end of the year.

Where do we sit on Fury vote-wise? Will he be back in these rankings if the WBC haven't stripped him by the 26th?
Personally, i'd take him out until he has something scheduled or atleast looks like things are being scheduled.
Iโm in agreement.
Ring and TBRB removed him.
Somethingโs gotta give. You gonna keep screaming retirement and do speeches and give your thanks then do one.
We need to move on.
If he scheduled a fight then yeh, I say we can vote him back in. Until then, he can sit at home.
Agree, leave him out until he's got something lined up. I suppose it would've made this vote a bit more intriguing seeing if people felt Usyk should be above Fury - it's a bit of a formality as it stands leaving him at 1.

Wonder how many will go with Hrgovic to 14 and Zhang to 15 with Pulev dropping out?
Good shout. However, Both Hrgovic-Zhang and Chisora-Pulev could have gone either way. Like, Rizla paper thin decisions. It would be good to see Zhang and Pulev face off for that position. Pulev is, after all, the more decorated contender.
I personally am still not comfortable with Chisora being top 10. And I'm a fan. He should have been years ago, but now it just doesn't seem right. He's shot.
Personally I would put Zhang to #15 in protest.
He was jobbed on the cards there. Two judges scoring 8 rounds to Hrgovic?! Ridiculous for anyone scoring that fight round by round with their eyes open.
May be in the minority, and I thought Zhang did some of the more eye-catching work, but I didn't have a problem with the 114-113 card. I felt he won the fight, despite a decidedly abject performance.
Would love to see Zhang in with Chisora or something though. He's good to watch.

Fair enough, I didn't have an issue with the 114-113 either. I did with the two 115-112 cards though.
I think most people would have accepted a win for Zhang or a draw, or even a split for Hrg. But a UD win with those cards... Dodgy
That was voting based on national politics the same you see on the Eurovision song contest. The winner was pre decided
I do not consider either Zhang or Hrgovic top 15.
Zhang in my opinion lost to Jerry Forrest and most on here have said Zhang was a bum and a knockout loss waiting to happen. And I thought he clearly beat Hrgovic who looks to be declining rapidly.
Neither should enter the top 15

Yup.
The commentary team kept going on about how unhealthy he was for that fight. I mean his own fault..

Seemed like throughout the fight, Zhang wanted it more.
I didn't score it, so I can't say who won either way. But Zhang had so many long gaps between throwing punches it was concerning. I mean for half a round he just bumbled about
I think BoxRec has done a major disservice by taking Tyson Fury out of the number one spot because it is so obvious to everyone with a functioning brain cell that the whole retirement thing was nothing more than a promotional ploy to set up the undisputed fight with Usyk.
Whoever controls the rankings at BoxRec needs to really get a clue and put Fury back in there as the number one heavyweight before they do themselves a major embarrassment if Fury actually beats Usyk.
This will be nothing more than a repeat of history with Richard Kyle Fox backing Jake Kilrain over John L Sullivan when everybody knew that John L Sullivan was the true heavyweight champion of the world.
