Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - 2020 OLD thread
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
Charles Martin (crap) got belt due his opponent twsting his ankle if I recall
Dominic Breazeale is crap
Andy Ruiz Jr is crap and upset Joshua
Joseph Parker got battered by Joe Joyce recently.
Klitschko came back 18 months later after the Tyson Fury defeat to fight Joshua - Wlad dropped Joshua heavy in that 6th round.
Fury beat Klitschko in Germany for all the belts (Fury MIND FOOKED Klitschko like no tomorrow)
Klitschko was cheating messing with the ring canvas
Fury beat a Klitschko who was unbeaten for 10 YEARS plus.
Officially beat Wilder twice in America (The trilogy will be remembered for EVER) especially Fury KO Wilder in the last fight.
Tyson Fury is known in America.
Unbeaten in America.
Won awards in America.
Made bank in America.
p.s AJ lost in America & never went back.

Klitschko looked very poor in the fight before Fury - definitely at the end of his Heavyweight journey.quickeyg wrote: ↑30 Sep 2022, 20:05 Charles Martin (crap) got belt due his opponent twsting his ankle if I recall

Wilder a one armed fighter with poor balance and poor stamina. Fury's best opponent to date.
I think Ruiz jnr has a good chance of knocking Fury out; he is certainly better than anyone Fury has faced before. Not that we will see him in with Fury. I can't see Fury boxing Ruiz, Joshua, Uysk or Joyce.
Ancient Povetkin beat Whyte cleaner than Fury did. Fury is an excellent fighter but also a very good businessman and not the bravest boxer out there, hence the very carefully chosen opponents in his career e.g. American debut against a Cruiserweight and not a top heavyweight.

It sounds like you just said what I said, but got mad about the fact that I didn't say it exactly the way you'd say itbrilo33 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2022, 19:53how fury v wilder are bigger than anyone one of aj fights, charles martin please, i would say the fighters he beat like parker and whyte have improved more than him and would beat him now, parker who lost last week would beat ajgilgamesh wrote: ↑30 Sep 2022, 12:49 Yeah you can sh*t on AJ for various reasons if you want, but to say his resume is weak is stupid. His record has more big fights, and dangerous opponents on it than Wilder's and Fury's combined at the moment.
It just doesn't have the biggest fights possible which is either Wilder or Fury.
But he's taken on just about everyone else of note in the division.
Basically we have Fury and Wilder who have fought each other 3 times, and done little else of note (Ortiz for Wilder and Wlad for Fury I guess)
And then we have AJ who has fought basically the rest of the Heavyweight division that those 2 guys haven't fought.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
Fury chose Joshua as a voluntary defence, offered him a very generous deal and sent him a contract.
We've had a lot of pages of people "hating" on Fury.
Joshua has had the contract for 15 days and even his biggest cheerleaders are pointing the finger at his side.
The Fury "haters" are now back tracking before returning to slate him on the next page.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
Really?
From what I have read it's just another opinion from someone who isn't part of the negotiations.
The biggest Fury cheerleaders appear oblivious to the Fury Instagram vids where he throwing the excuses up.
(Mick has already informed us he doesn't watch the Fury vids and only watches the Joshua vids so he is excused)

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
Ancient Povetkin beat Whyte cleaner than Fury did?! Whyte had Povetkin down twice and almost out the round before he was stopped. Up to the peach of a shot that Povetkin landed most people would have predicted a Whyte stoppage. Against Fury, Whyte didn’t really land much of note. There was a close round or two because Fury wasn’t throwing much either until Fury caught him with the uppercut.big lennox wrote: ↑30 Sep 2022, 23:15Klitschko looked very poor in the fight before Fury - definitely at the end of his Heavyweight journey.quickeyg wrote: ↑30 Sep 2022, 20:05 Charles Martin (crap) got belt due his opponent twsting his ankle if I recall

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
How come the last few years Fury just keeps harping on and on and on about AJ , yet always puts obstacles in the way , i don't know if Fury will beat AJ or vice versa ,, but what i do know is every time he wants a gimmee fight he loves to call out AJ who for all intent purposes must now be sick of accepting , then having obstacles in the way (wilder ) now stupid deadlines , C,mon really whats the big deal about early or mid december except for an excuse ,, these ridiculous deadlines are just that ridiculous , its NEVER going to be easy when both boxers have contractual relationships with other big companys who have a vested interest
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
Keep an eye on Wilders fight week - all their team will use Tyson Furys name.coneye wrote: ↑01 Oct 2022, 04:54 How come the last few years Fury just keeps harping on and on and on about AJ , yet always puts obstacles in the way , i don't know if Fury will beat AJ or vice versa ,, but what i do know is every time he wants a gimmee fight he loves to call out AJ who for all intent purposes must now be sick of accepting , then having obstacles in the way (wilder ) now stupid deadlines , C,mon really whats the big deal about early or mid december except for an excuse ,, these ridiculous deadlines are just that ridiculous , its NEVER going to be easy when both boxers have contractual relationships with other big companys who have a vested interest
Eddie Hearn blatantly sabotaged Fury vs Joshua
Watch Fury diss Joshua and Hearn to his face. (Great tv this)
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - December 2022?
TBF the 1st thing Joshua did after beating Klitschko was to call out Fury (who was weighing 27 stone at the time). He's not seen so keen since he shifted that weight.coneye wrote: ↑01 Oct 2022, 04:54 How come the last few years Fury just keeps harping on and on and on about AJ , yet always puts obstacles in the way , i don't know if Fury will beat AJ or vice versa ,, but what i do know is every time he wants a gimmee fight he loves to call out AJ who for all intent purposes must now be sick of accepting , then having obstacles in the way (wilder ) now stupid deadlines , C,mon really whats the big deal about early or mid december except for an excuse ,, these ridiculous deadlines are just that ridiculous , its NEVER going to be easy when both boxers have contractual relationships with other big companys who have a vested interest

Erm, AJ signed to box Fury last year and then Fury pulled out to box Wilder for a third time having just beat him conclusively.BigDoofus wrote: ↑01 Oct 2022, 05:20TBF the 1st thing Joshua did after beating Klitschko was to call out Fury (who was weighing 27 stone at the time). It's strange how it works out because Fury must have a very good chance of winning the AJ fight, he certainly says it will be easy pickings, but yet it never comes off.I genuinely don't understand why it doesn't happen.
The things that impresses me most about Fury, which really makes him so tough to beat ( aside from his skill set) is his phenomenal stamina. I just don't know how a guy that big can retain his fitness so well throughout a hard 12 rounds. I think that's what gives him the edge on everyone ( except for Joyce maybe?).
