Most people who buy Sky PPVs already pay for Sky TV. There are a couple ways around it like buying for the iPad or through a Now TV box but it’s not too easy.

I have BT so not sure how that works re: PPVs. Assume you either need to be already paying for BT TV or Sky TV to get it?

Either way DAZN are taking the piss with this. I didn’t have an issue with the £20 price point - that should be including the month’s subs though.

Hearn Says Eubank-Benn Catchweight Is ‘Bigger Disadvantage To Conor Benn’

“The bigger danger is with Conor Benn, in all honesty,” Hearn told iD Boxing. “When a fighter moves up one-and-a-half weight divisions it’s a big disadvantage. You’re talking about Chris Eubank Jr. coming down three pounds.

“Now, I understand how difficult that can be, especially if a fighter struggles to make 160,” Hearn said. “But his team and the British Boxing Board of Control … [and] his trainer are very comfortable with where he is in that respect. I think he has weighed 158.8 [pounds] quite recently in a fight.”

“So he has to make that weight (157 pounds), if he doesn’t there will be financial penalties,” Hearn said of Eubank Jr. “If he doesn’t he’ll look a bit silly after the Instagram posts. But I think it’s a bigger disadvantage to Conor Benn, stepping up the divisions. He’s gonna be the smaller man on the night. Also, you saw him today, he’s (Benn) 163 pounds, he looks like he’s ready to weigh in for welterweight, you know?

Binned DAZN off a fortnight ago, it's just not worth it at the moment. That said, I'm intrigued by this clash and will probably lay out the £28.

It's kinda brilliant how the profitability of DAZN's UK venture is currently heavily dependent on their access to traditional TV viewing platforms, PPV and Youtuber boxing.

Finally watched the head-to-head. I recommend it. Eubank Jr was absolutely full of it. Really condescending whilst being quite funny. Benn was all business. You could tell he was getting wound up at times and it took some effort to stop him losing it. I think Eubank is trying to force Benn to go after him early. Hopefully it doesn’t happen as I always think when a fighter goes up a couple of divisions their stamina is something that may not hold up given he’ll be taking an extra stone or so through the fight.

CEJ is just like his dad ain’t he.

If you're going to fork out 28, fork out 60 and get an IPTV sub for the year. Been on IPTV 4 years now and have zero complaints. Have never had a ppv that I couldn't watch.

56 bucks in australia at 7 AM... Dazn can eat a dick, only thing keeping there is goldenboy cards but im unsubbing now. thats a bridge too far when it comes to disrespect...

You're basically paying the same as what we are in the UK, but it doesn't make sense.

I understand why this is UK PPV, its a kinda historic UK fight. but outside of the UK its just the 10th best welterweight vs the 5th best middle weight, for zero belts, at 7am... how is that PPV by regular standards, let alone game changed standards.

No way paying 30 quid for this. Arguably both chief supports could easily be the first fight on on a normal Sky show at 715pm.

Eddie saying 1mil buys. I hope he’s not financed the fighters’ purses on that projection as in the current climate… he’s gonna get a shock.
