Parker just wouldn't be able to land such telegraphing swings on any living body. Only Joyce could allow it, cause he doesn't feel anything.
Physically or emotionally? Reminds me of The Terminator in both his lack of reaction to punches and his personality
Probably both. Although emotionally he only gets angrier.

Never has a boxer suited their nickname more than Joe Joyce.

That man virtually is a juggernaut.

He reminds me of that lorry in an episode of Knight Rider that was coated in the same indestructible coating as KITT and eventually destroyed KITT.

He is relentless with incredible stamina and punch resistance.

I'm sure if he had handspeed and foot speed to match his other attributes, he'd be nigh on unbeatable right now.

5x and 3x? lol that's impossible. find that article. I bet it's +5% and +3%. Could be +50%/+30% I support but no way 5x and 3x

Fast-rising heavyweight prospect Johnny Fisher has revealed why Joe Joyce’s chin is so good. According to Fisher – who is one of Joyce’s main sparring partners – his bone density is six times that of a normal human being.

"Someone landed four left hooks on Joe Joyce's chin, and he didn't even move. He's actually done a test, like a bone density test, and his bone density is six times a normal human being.”

I mean the quote is from Fisher.. he’s only saying what he’s heard.

He might have heard 6% but said 6x himself.

So Joyce actually is a mutant. I thought the name, Juggernaut, was just a bit of fun.

Joyce is scary. Parker practically picked him up throwing a punch, it landed so damn square and hard. Joyce wasn't phased. That punch would've KO'd anyone. I think it was the 6th or 7th. Here I thought Parker's very real punching power would've deterred Joyce, but alas. Dude is a real juggernaut.

Thought Takam only lost because he doesn't punch that hard, but Joyce really is a block head. He seems like the nicest guy ever, but I don't think he's all there in terms of brain. :brick:

According to BT commentators/pundits, the judges had Joyce ahead.. But there is no confirmation of this, or by how much he was ahead.

It's a shame one of them had to lose.

Two genuinely nice guys that didn't even need to fight each other.

It was an unnecessary fight as each man could have just sat on their ranking, taken soft fights and waited for their respective shots, rather than beat the crap out of each other in a hugely entertaining fight.

Hats off to both of them.

Don't get too sensetive, it was necessary in contrast to different mismatches.

Agreed.

This is supposed to be a tough sport.
Right up there with mountaineering.

These are exactly the fights that keep us hooked.

We should be grateful to both of these 2 genuinely hard men for not sitting on their rankings and biding their time.

As long as he's physically alright, Joseph Parker won't lose much from fighting Joe Joyce.

He might need a new trainer though.

hahaha ok, so it's from a boxing trainer who heard it somewhere. In other words, b.s.

By the math, a 270 lb man's skeleton should weigh 40lbs. If Joyce's bones are 6x as dense his skeleton alone would weigh 240 lbs, leaving just 30 lbs for muscle and vital organs,

Or maybe Joyce with a normal skeleton would weigh just 155 lbs. (23lb. skeleton, 132 lbs flesh) Then, with a 6x normal skeleton weighing 138 lbs, he adds up to 270 lbs. on the dot.

So it's solved, if Joyce had a normal human skeleton he would weight 155 lbs. No more heavyweight fights for him!

Or else his heart, lungs, muscles—and brain—weight only 30 lbs. total. No wonder he can't feel any punches!

More like 50. But yeah I remember him in a much smaller version as I trained at the same amateur gym in Wandsworth - probably 16-17 years ago. He used to be a very lanky boy.

I think the professional code will give Joyce a better platform to beat Usyk, but I still favour the latter.

Usyk is big enough to be totally steamrollered, hits hard enough to command respect, and has the skills to outbox Joyce over 12, but I think it would be a close fight.
