Two votes.

Use one vote per boxer..

We're only voting on Wilder and Helenius for now.

Will do Sanchez in a few days.

I don't really believe in dropping anyone who loses, and he did beat a top 15 ranked boxer..

I have only added a #4 option.. If you don't want Joyce to overtake him, then don't click the option.

That's going to make the ratings a little odd...

A few posters wanted to move Joyce ahead of Wilder, but overall, the votes put him #4.. But we all knew Wilder was fighting soon.

So far no one dropping him. I don't think anyone should.

No HW has a fight scheduled!

WOW!

Really disappointed in Wallin..

He's literally waiting for a big fight.

He fought Breazeale in Feb 21, then Soko in Feb 22 and then Booker in May 22..

Understandably he had the Whyte fight which would have been late 2021, but that fell apart through an 'injury' on Whyte's part..

He calls outs the big names..

I think he's in the running for the AJ fight..

I'm a little screwed in where i'm voting Helenius.. I'm thinking 15, because I don't think he should drop out yet..

His two wins over Kownacki are still better than other contenders who are not yet ranked..

Think you need to add more options. If we're assessing their record as a whole plenty of people may disagree that you can only go up for a win and only go down from a loss.

Wilder to 2 (if it was my personal ranking Fury would still be in there) because I think he takes AJ out.

Helenius out. I've never liked him being in our rankings. He's always been crap.

Before anyone says "If Helenius is crap why does beating him elevate Wilder above AJ?" I thought Wilder would have an easy time with RH, but he did him with half a punch. Wilder is a very flawed fighter, but he wins spectacularly. He's a very dangerous fighter.

I thought it was a dive when I watched it last night, as it seemed to be an arm punch, but I've watched some replays today and you can hear the thud of the punch. I have to give it to the Hotep Cretin. He can crack.

His many flat and downright terrible performances should outweigh his 2 surprise wins against the same overrated opponent, in my opinion.

I think Bakole is a solid top 10 guy. Very impressed with him against Yoka. I reckon he will crack top 5.

Wilder to 2 (technically 3), Helenius drops to 13, which would happen anyways when we vote for Sanchez. He's lost to a top 3-4 guy, so still way better than the guys at 14 and 15.

Agreed. 13 or 14 I'm fine with. Wilder to 2 (without Fury in the ratings)

So would you be only moving Sanchez one place up?

No, I never said that. But wether you move Sanchez 1 or 10 places up, Helenius goes down 1. I would put Sanchez at 10, above Ortiz and below Bakole..

wilder 2, helly out

even considering wilder's power, that was an unimpressive loss for helly and he wasnt a strong top 15 to start with

and wilder simply by getting a win should pass aj, who hasnt won since 2020

Yeh.. a win against a fellow top 15 HW. A win is a win. AJ Is due to fight soon.. so he’ll have a chance to overtake Wilder again.. depending on opponent.

Was he injured before the Hunter fight or did he get injured during?

I don’t think he’s still with Matchroom either.. shame.

surprised at all the people keeping helly in, not even dropping him to 15! i thought he was weak top 15 to start and he lost about as poorly as could be, pretty much every wilder challenger has done better

His shoulder went in the fight and he was looking at his trainer essentially asking to be pulled out. It was clear that he was asking to be saved by his corner. I can't remember who his trainer was/is but they refused to pull him out and sent him back in there to get stopped. I remember it being somewhat controversial at the time, potentially career ending. Maybe it was to make him realise how tough the game was? Regardless, I thought it was irresponsible.

If you look at the Yoka fight, he came in HUGE, like Joe Joyce sized, and beat Yoka up. Something like 19 stone? Watching him there, I figure he'll be a handful for anyone. Without the right promotion, he's going to get swerved by everyone, and will just have to keep grafting and looking impressive until he's made a mandatory, or somehow becomes a fan favourite. I think he's got a lot of potential.
