Their performances against Usyk?

Yep, I didn't think Joyce would turn down a title shot, he has been ready and waiting for one.
Sad that didn't get made.

‘Tight for me’ - so he’d probably take it if he was happy with the financials.

He was definitely calling Joshua out. What's his excuse? Another fashion show?

Excuse for what? Not responding to it? It’s not like they made an offer or tried to negotiate. Joyce just said he was up for the fight and he’s trying to get attention by bringing up AJ. He’s not the first. The Fury/Chisora press conference was full of talk about AJ.

Anyway, back to the topic, what are your thoughts on Fury/Chisora 3?

As a warm-up for Usyk in the Spring it's acceptable.
Chisora (against Usyk) performed better than Joshua in his first attempt.
Joshua won't fight Fury (or Wilder) so we have to accept Chisora as his substitute.

You seem a bit obsessed with AJ. I ask your thoughts re: Fury/Chisora and you mention AJ a couple of times.

Fury/Chisora isn’t a fight I want to see again. The first was a comfortable win for Fury and the second (which I went to) was a beat-down. Hopefully it’s more competitive than most people think it will be but I can’t see it.

What I will say is I was at fault too. I didnt like the way a fellow poster was being treated and I wrote something that I was clearly wrong in doing so. I apologise.

Just listened to the Fury interview with True Geordie. TG was measured in his opinions, not over the top and fair. Tyson just showed his lack of intelligence and went to name calling because his BS answers weren’t just accepted like they would have been by Umar/Kugan and co.

Makes me want to watch more TG stuff.

I was willing him to point out that Ali had trilogies with Frazier and Norton. I like Tyson a lot, but this "Not my era" hogwash seems designed to justify him not fighting Usyk. He doesn't fancy that challenge, I'm convinced of it.

While it is not a fight I want to see I am a bit more reasonable than most so-called boxing fans. When I was a kid there were plenty of champions who did non-title matches and exhibitions in between the big fights. They were never criticized for it or if they were it was pretty minimal.

I remember a time when champions did a lot of voluntary defenses not necessarily against the number one or number two or number three guy but again somebody farther down the trough.

And basically that's all that is going on here with Tyson Fury. Everybody is acting like he is ducking or dodging the undisputed title fight when that is not the case at all. The evidence is out there that Usyk did not want to fight until 2023 and the evidence is out there that basically Eddie Hearn prevented the Joshua fight from happening either.

Same :salut:
Way, way more money in it to face Uysk, and the chance to hold all four belts.
Who wouldn't want a chance at that for legacy?
Uysk certainly does, it's all he wants.

Understandable, he's the Heavyweight Champion of the World. The first question was asking his opinion on a low level contest involving a Youtuber called KSI. I found it more than a little agitating too.

Saying that, the interviewer was correct to stand his ground in regards to Chisora.
