If Lara still had his legs I would fancy him to do it. Depends if ggg can catch him clean. I think this fight would actually be a good watch. Who does everyone fancy to win?

interesting that so many people have turned to lara on this, he was looking poor himself before he started can crushing after failing to beat hurd and castano............ the best opponent he's beat in the last 6 years was ktfo in about a minute by david lemieux. the utterly awful opposition makes me think his team knows he's extra vulnerable, but apparently this has just made some fans more confident in him. meanwhile, instead of fighting ggg, he's been talked up for danny garcia next

golovkin's still sturdy enough that he can hang in there with world class mws, beating some of them and taking the best that elite can dish out. at these guys ages i think lara's legs are more likely to be shot than ggg's power

He should've moved to 168 after he beat Lara. It was crazy how such a big dude like Hurd can make 154!?

Yup, old Lara is staying safe to cash in vs old GGG. I think G would stop him in the later rounds of the fight. Lara would get jabbed, left hooked and uppercuted heavily by GGG. It would look like a GGG vs Willie Monroe Jr II fight.

It would be hilarious and ironic at the same time for the ol' GGG's detractors that some years ago they wanted to see GGG moving down to 154 and fight Lara. Now if this fight will happen and a 41 y/o GGG would stop a 39 y/o Lara, they would have to bow to GGG. :OhYes:

lara couldnt get a win vs the last two decent opponents he faced, and that was years ago already. both times his legs were giving out in the second half. since then he's can crushed for a reason. and this isnt even just beating your standard weak challenger......ffs he fought tommy lamanna

people are just forgetting about lara's own aging because of how dreadful his opposition has been
