Not really. I’ve been fairly happy with the content in March and the shows in April and May look strong and worth the money.
I, as I imagine most people do nowadays, have a smart TV and it’s 3 clicks to get on DAZN and watch it.
Whether it’s good value or not is kind of irrelevant.
It just shows complete disregard that they persuade clients to lock in to a 12 month deal, knowing full well that a few weeks later they are going to launch something else that they may have preferred to use.

Sky can’t be beaten for exposure. Whenever I have nothing to watch I flick Sky Sports News on and that’s how I mostly find out about upcoming fixtures/events for sports I’m a ‘casual’ fan of - cricket, darts etc. Either that or the BBC website at work. Without them I wouldn’t know what was going on in sports I only have a partial interest in and that probably goes for 90% of people who watch boxing. A bloke at work watches any decent boxing whenever it’s on Sky or BT but had no idea Joshua was even fighting soon when I mentioned it last week.
They've been testing the signal on SKY for a month, so they must have had some inkling that this was happening when they brought in the pricing plan and locked people into contracts.
I guess given the choice the vast majority who subscribed without knowing the SKY option was starting next week would have waited for that.

I’m sure it would have been nice to have that option for some people but I’d imagine it’s no issue at all for the bulk of subscribers.
I’d be annoyed if they reduced the content and started putting things on PPV on there that I don’t believe should be as I paid the £100 on the assumption that the content would be worth the money. Whether there’s a channel on Sky that I can access doesn’t change anything for me.
This is a good move for DAZN commercially, available in pubs, ready to win more UK rights, Football, Darts, seems the obvious next ones.
Personally, I’m happy with the App cause it’s mobile and on my TV anyhow, the Sky Platform option is not relevant to me.
Will be interesting how they manage the scheduling of the linear channel. Would laugh my ass off if people tuned in to watch a boxing card only to find out Netball had taken precedence.

Most people wouldn’t do both. It will be one or the other and they have taken that option away.

So last month they launched a new price where they urge people to tie themselves in for 12 months and then make a TV channel where you can't view it if you're an existing subscriber. So basically any existing yearly DAZN subscriber would have to pay twice if they want to watch it on Sky absolute con men.

The Sky deal was definitely in the works before the £99 per year deal.

You may or may not care …. But most people would appreciate the option.
No one is going to pay for both.
