If you take the last 18 months, Fury has fought 3 times (wilder x 2 + chisora) while Usyk has fought only once (aj). Yet, you want to drop Fury and raise Usyk, because of inactivity.HomicideHenry wrote: β03 Apr 2023, 14:55 Inactivity is the ruination of these guys and they need to be punished for it. I'm half tempted to say Fury ought to be dropped to #2 and Usyk to #1 because of inactivity and that Chisora fight did nothing for him.
By the end of the month, the only opponent that Fury will have faced in the past 12 months will have been Chisora. See, we can all use arbitrary cut off dates...CMCanavessi wrote: β03 Apr 2023, 15:57If you take the last 18 months, Fury has fought 3 times (wilder x 2 + chisora) while Usyk has fought only once (aj). Doesn't change 1 bit the fact that Fury is more active than Usyk in general.joshj909 wrote: β03 Apr 2023, 16:31By the end of the month, the only opponent that Fury will have faced in the past 12 months will have been Chisora. Franklin remains out
If no contract ever existed and there was no signatures, etc then there was no fight to default on. Even at that fights fall through all the time even after signatures had been signed. I hate to break it to you there is no such thing as losing by default in the sport of boxing. It's a cute idea in team sports, but doesn't exist in boxing.
well i mean chisora is still ranked on clear loss, close loss, clear loss, close win, clear loss....

Puleve is still in on a clear loss, an eh win and a close loss
Hrg is in on absolutly zero and then a lucky win...
So, if lackeo saw franklin as beating whyte (many did) and competitive with AJ (it wasnt close but it was compeditive).... then going above those mentioned isnt that big a stretch... Not my view, and very tough to move up on 2 losses.... but i kinda get it.
His wins over Pulev and Takam just kept him in both times when he would've 100% been ready to drop out beforehand. Looks like time for Pulev to go now after his loss to Chisora coupled with inactivity though.Ruthless-RKO wrote: β04 Apr 2023, 03:43gregregegg wrote: β04 Apr 2023, 03:34well i mean chisora is still ranked on clear loss, close loss, clear loss, close win, clear loss....

Would have made more sense to add him after the Whyte loss. Although he was competitive with AJ, was a clear loss.
I think Chisora is a lucky on. Many posters just love keeping him in.. despite them losses.
