I’m mowing down these calories day by day,” said Saunders on a self-recorded video. “I’m gonna come back.”
“One-time world champion, two-time world champion, three-time world champion. Might even go up to light heavy. See who’s there at light heavy with a belt.”

Saunders should stay retired - he’s an absolute moron
Re: Billy Joe Saunders *updates*
Jake Paul?
Re: Billy Joe Saunders *updates*
I'd be interested to see how he'd come back vs a liam smith or liam williams. I have a feel the repercussions of his bad living may be inescapable this time round.

Nowhere near a big enough name. He looks too far gone to realistically do anything in boxing now, he would have been an incredible light middle for me. He had a brilliant skill set. His 'shtick' though was so far off the mark it didn't appeal to anyone. Just a thoroughly dislikable bully.

Strangely I’ve got a mate who’s friends with Billy Joe. I’ve never met him but was saying to my mate how much I dislike Billy Joe for the stuff he’s done over the years.mickey1975 wrote: ↑17 Jul 2023, 03:30Nowhere near a big enough name. My mate said that he’s a bit of a dual personality in that when he’s bored he can get up to all sorts but my mate had some out of the blue bad news and he said Billy Joe couldn’t have been nicer. Offered him his house (one of them I guess) to stay in to get away from things and was checking in on him a fair bit.

Interesting, I guess we shouldn't judge anyone if we dont know them.
Trouble is what we do know about BJS is that he goads people on the phone and sleeps with their wives mocking them. Then gives it the big one about being a Christian.
I don't like the guy on that basis, unless he comes out and does a video saying how disgusting he has been in the past, its hard to like him.

Unless it's bad news I've no interest in the scumbag
Re: Billy Joe Saunders *updates*
Yep I hear you. I kind of want him to get beaten up badly or go down for a 20 year stretch.

I have despised Saunders since the incident when he got his son to kick that American fighter in the nuts at a weigh in and then his clan proceeded to hurl abuse at the guy.
I laughed my head off when Canelo smashed his eye up

Punched him in the knacker sac. Not that that's any better by the way.Manchester Hitman wrote: ↑25 Jul 2023, 23:11 I have despised Saunders since the incident when he got his son to kick that American fighter in the nuts at a weigh in and then his clan proceeded to hurl abuse at the guy.

How he just stands there.
Respect to Monroe.
His trainer tried fighting the kid.

Then the half ass apology in the ring
Re: Billy Joe Saunders *updates*
I dread to think what could have happened to that kid if he’d done that to certain other fighters.

Which fighters? I can't think of any pro fighters past or present who'd have chinned a child at a public weigh-in, even after getting punched in the gonads by the aforementioned child.

I’d imagine the lad has had a hard 5k day today on some old ladies roof pretending to fix all the rotten slats. Didn’t he send all his kids out grafting (grifting?) at 11 years old or something?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑26 Jul 2023, 10:17Teddy's Toupee wrote: ↑26 Jul 2023, 09:15Punched him in the knacker sac. “I liked what I heard from Billy. The reality is about Billy Joe Saunders is, he’s been a pain in the a**e to me at times, I also feel like we’ve done a great job for him, I think he respects that. I think he wants to be with us and I would like to promote him.
“When I sit down with him I realise what an asset he can be to British boxing when he’s not misbehaving.”
“I think he may return in December. I think a fight up at 175 could be an option, and then down to 168 for a big fight in the Spring, and that’s what we discussed.”

Nobody in the right mind would pay to see BJS, surely ?
