Jared got rocked in the final seconds. It looked like he said, "That was a Nice Shot" towards "Martin", after he was announced The Winner by decision. :OhYes:

He's basically A work in progress. The Switching Stances is A Nice Talent, whether a natural ability or acquired over time.

He Has decent potential, but not quite ready for the top 5 out there.

What was Martin ranked at..? Somewhere between 8 to 12..?

It's So hard to tell nowadays, especially with there being So Many Top 20 guys fighting So Seldomly anymore. Inactivity is So En-Vogue in Boxing. Especially once a prospect attains a six figure paycheck.

That was a KO punch at the end by Martin against almost anybody else, and Jared took it well. Most guys would have been saved by the bell--or not--by that punch with 5 seconds to go.

It was a good and bad reveal for Jared. Exposed his really bad defensive habits, but also exposed an incredible chin.
They said the same with Joyce and we know how that ended...

Closer to 20-25 I'd imagine. He rebuilt after that loss to Kownacki. Then he took another loss to Ortiz
At the time of the fight Boxrec rated Martin #39. Like the rest of the ratings take it as you will
