You'd have to assume that Fury v the MMA man will do more through curiosity value and MMA fans who wouldn't usually buy.
I would suggest that actual boxing fans will more likely go for Joshua v Whyte if they can't afford both.

Undercard so far for AJ is Hrgovic v McKean and Fisher v Armstrong for the southern area title. Fabio Wardley also likely to be on there.

I say make it a night of the heavyweights with say 6 heavyweight fights.

Let's put it this way....

Fury-Ngannou is gonna be bigger than Joshua-Whyte, Joyce-Zhang, and Usyk-Dubois combined. You can take that to the bank. Two are rematches nobody wants to really see (let's be honest) and the other is a title match with a guy who never really earned that shot in the first place. The heavyweight division sucks right now. So the gimmick match will be the event of the year potentially.

Either they do it primetime UK, which will be around 1am Saudi time then. If they cater to US fans, cus that market might just be more money. Then it would be daft o clock in UK.

Think its more than that. jake paul (not a great source) claims it was 8 figures not 8 million.... so more than 10 million. now as i said not a great source.. but arriel backs it and he seems to know everything with these things.

Streams for massive events are notoriously unreliable. If you really want to watch guaranteed, you buy.

What makes you think Fury/Ngannou is going to be at a daft time? I’d imagine it’ll be 9pm U.K. time similar to the AJ fights in Saudi and then in the afternoon US time.

Yes that's how it appears. Potentially an existential threat for Dana/UFC if other top names decide to leave and work for rival promotions.

I think Hrgovic is the real top contender currently - he had a close fight against Zhang, but looked a lot stronger and able to force Zhang back than Joyce did.
Fisher is always entertaining .. so whilst AJ v Whyte PPV will struggle on DAZN, it should do similar to Fury v Ngannou

They are being very cagey with announcing the deal for subscribers. August is a shocking month for DAZN, it could end up £70 for Jake Paul, Yafai and AJ. Alienating subscribers won't help, but asking them for £27 is a bit much. The fight obviously is free worldwide, over on the current scene forum it has similar views to what Jarred Anderson v Charles Martin has on here.

I think this fight was insisted on by DAZN. Eddie more or less said so. They haven't had an AJ PPV yet and who knowsmwhat the tv situation will be for Wilder.
