If Dubois and Joyce both get ironed out in the next few weeks, that will just leave Fury fighting non boxers. That would be a bit of a downer for their TV network.
Meanwhile, AJ is doing his job and taking on Wilder next, by the sounds of it.
Has anyone seen the Netflix trailer for the Fury documentary? Not at all scripted. Nor siree. He definitely ' retired' ( which is why he didn't give up his WBC belt) and it wasn't part of a storyline at all..

That's right. AJ would have found that he had accepted 40% of thin air and, instead, has earnt some millions beating Helenius and will earn £47m to box Wilder and not have his time wasted. Sensible move by AJ. Ditto Uysk - from Uysk's perspective, he has beaten Fury without having to box him.handsofstone wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 17:29That's hearsay, I only deal with facts, AJ had a plan, like Usyk he's too shrewd to fall for any of Fury's pish, like most people really except the simpsBigDoofus wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 16:15Joshua has turned down 2 Fury fights in the past 9 months. He’s avoided Wilder for 7 years. Perhaps he will need another fight “first”.

It's not an opinion that Wilder tweeted that he turned down the AJ fight to give Fury a rematch and it's not an opinion that Fury put out a video to say the Joshua fight was on then walked away to fight Wilder a third time, I know you adore all things traveller related but you must know that your getting the piss ripped out of you along with the other gullible fools Fury has on a string?mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 17:38I think we have established that's YOUR opinion. Ohhhhh the old traveller card??? Haven't heard that one for a while. I've heard all sides and at different points quotes to back up each of their stories. I firmly believe, like Doofus, if Hearn wanted him in with Wilder over the past 7 years, it would have happened. Isn't it common knowledge that, after Wilder smashed Audley, Barry Hearn said "keep him away from AJ"? Wise move.handsofstone wrote: ↑14 Aug 2023, 02:58It's not an opinion that Wilder tweeted that he turned down the AJ fight to give Fury a rematch and it's not an opinion that Fury put out a video to say the Joshua fight was on then walked away to fight Wilder a third time, I know you adore all things traveller related but you must know that your getting the piss ripped out of you along with the other gullible fools Fury has on a string?mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 17:38I think we have established that's YOUR opinion. Genuine question Doofy, what are your opinions of Fury fighting someone who's never had a professional boxing fight in his life before? I think Wilder is shot and will get hammered, but it's a good line. Made me laughmickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Aug 2023, 09:11 I will give AJ credit if he faces Wilder. I can't think of any reason, other than cash, why they would let him box him. It really is a knockover job. This AJ just doesn't have anywhere near the mentality to beat him. He will be a nervous wreck at the first press conference.
