If you've been outboxed then land a body shot that had your opponent disabled for minutes surely you'd carry on with that tactic ...it's a no brainer
yes its a no brainer but also tells me dd knew he couldnt win fairly ie within the rules
Why ? The punch seemed legal to the majority so why change ?

thing is he gobbed off about winning by any means and so the refs / judges would have been on alert .
Yeah he said he was going to fight "rough with elbows and everything" in an interview this week. Only the ref can answer the low blow question, Usyk only rested because the ref instructed him so.

But there is no confusion Dub took a knee for the 10 count when it looked like he could have stood up and continued

ya very similar to the bizarre chisora reaction

dubs won 1 round, got dropped twice, and stopped. his biggest moment was a foul. aj did far better in the rematch (still clearly losing) than dubs did here.

ive also seen people moaning about the count, ffs dubs kept himself down for 9.5 and clearly wanted no more

This is what happens when you start making YouTubers having boxing fights a big deal and treating them like a legit sporting contest. You start attracting moronic fans who think someone landing a flurry on the other guys gloves is "winning" or don't understand what a low blow is.

2 things were established last night . People were taught the rules regarding a low blow , its a blow below the band , such has DD hit Usyk with , no debate whatsoever it was below the band which was not worn too high either ,

and once again DD got hit with a jab took the longest count he could whilst all the time looking at the ref with a please save me look , ,

Suppose a third is , Usyks weakness is the body

Have you ever been in a boxing ring and been punched really hard in the protective equipment?
Nope. But I wouldn’t hold my balls.
When you get hit in the protector as hard as DDD hits, the whole thing moves. It bloody hurts, man.
Came here to say this. The whole thing pulls up and scrunches ye ballax up high. I don’t know how hurt he really was or if it was mind games taking that long. But them shots HURT

One clear winner for me and no controversy. But that’s boxing baby, tongues will wag!

Worst I’ve ever seen Usyk and best I’ve ever seen Dubois. Based on that, Fury would batter him I think. Tyson isn’t soft and he’ll watch that and know exactly what to do, I imagine he’ll be suddenly much easier to negotiate with

Usyk won it comfortable, winning every round and without even needing to step out of first gear. He treated it like a sparring session and clowned Dubois.

Dub landed only one decent punch, that controversial blow. He looked clueless for all time. That was a bad performance. Usyk looked good, since he didn't give Dub chances.

Yeah I agree with every word there. Still worst I’ve seen Usyk. A lot of people on twitter clutching at straws I think. I never had any doubts aba the result. I was in town with Deadpan and I was wasted but it was obvious from the start.

why do you say stuff like this when the entire scoring area of his glove is below the belt ? his glove nearly goes as low as the bottom of the map on usyk's left trunk leg

That picture is the one a millisecond after, the picture when usyks hand is higher the punch has landed higher, then as impact and follow throw happen usyks other hand comes down on top of dubois glove and it looks lower, but post initial impact

Also, does it even matter where the initial impact is? If it slides below it's still a low blow right? (Even though the initial impact is still low)

All in all the three recent heavyweight bills have been a truly dull affair.

Thought it was decent enough last night. Dubois did better than expected but showed his true mentality when he didn’t want to get up. Would not mind a rematch if Fury still doesnt want to fight next though.
