I had always believed that Igor Vysotsky was never off his feet in his entire career. But then I found this British Pathe clip of Evgeny Gortschkov decking him with a right to the jaw. The year is 1975, and the setting is the Soviet national championships.

wasn't able to watch it in slo-mo, but looked more like a stumble to me.
if any punch would have floored him, it would have been that left hook that landed and made his head jerk back like a
"Pez-Despencer".

Vysotsky was known for his durability. Many people - including me until recently - believed he was never knocked down as an amateur. Igor's real bane was eye ridge cuts. He was TKO'd several times for that reason.
