Surely every ranked heavyweight beats Ngannou? Is perhaps Joseph Parker in the running for the next opponent?

AJ would dominate him IMO. Ngannou's performance against Fury was with all the stars aligned. That won't happen again.

I can't see him taking on a gatekeeper as he may well lose, would do little for his credibility if he wins and the money will be low

Big but not maximum credibility if he beats Chisora in his second fight. Chisora is probably on the second or third tier in terms of being a draw. Chisora also fights in a style that I can see troubling Ngannou with high pressure and body shots.

You’d want Ngganou to face someone with a bad chin or another blank boxing canvas from the mma world like Overeem, who is worn out and retired now. Might be Joe Joyce who is ranked and the most beatable now.

I think the fight that makes the most business sense is Zhang.

Perhaps the most exciting as well.

Hopefully Fury, Usyk, AJ and Wilder are all paired off.

Outside of them, Zhang is the only one that really gets the juices flowing.

The rumour I heard was that it was Joseph Parker, If at all true, I think that is a bad fight for Francis

Ngannou should have pick of the litter right now... just because his risk vs reward ratio is off the charts.

I feel like if nganu boxes december 23rd (dont think he will) it will be wilder or AJ. anyone short of that i think ngannou will wait for the new year and hope he can get one of them or fury II.

but, I hope parker gets the fight and wins impressivly. would buy him some casual fans, and get him a good paycheck and draw a possitive comparison against fury.

short of that I would also like to see Chisora get the nganoue fight. if Chiz wins, perf requirement present. If nganu wins he has a genuine win in boxing and more of a mandate for a ranking and big fights going foward.

Would also love to see zhang vs nganue becuase they would both land. would back zhang to KO him, but nganus chin has shown to be sturdy.

ironic as he sparked Danny in that open air fight years ago, that was sad to see.

I would be absolutely amazed if it was Del. Ngannou ran Fury pretty close and some people think he won. I don't see him fighting a guy who's lost thirteen times, who barely anyone outside the UK has heard of. IMO, it'll be Usyk, AJ or Wilder, a padded nobody or a novelty fight.

I guess we just have to work out who is the biggest name with the most padded record. Greg Hardy and Hasim Rahman Jr are two that stand out to me. Yoka is a beatable Olympic gold medalist so that would be quite a claim if he was to beat him plus he's a pretty big name in French boxing. Jarrell Miller would actually be fairly intriguing. Wilder is a bigger name but higher risk. You could them have someone like Dubois who has a padded record but we don't actually know if he's any good, smaller name than Chisora though.

AJs career is almost over so it would be wise him fight Francis purely for a big pay check to see him into retirement.
