I think so too, which is why Hearn is gunning for it, huge payday with the potential of another again Wilder or Fury in the future.

IMO Fury will retire after the Usyk fight.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 11:25I think so too, which is why Hearn is gunning for it, huge payday with the potential of another again Wilder or Fury in the future.

Fury is 1/7 to retire after any given fight.jwfg wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 11:57IMO Fury will retire after the Usyk fight.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 11:25I think so too, which is why Hearn is gunning for it, huge payday with the potential of another again Wilder or Fury in the future.

Very true joshj909, but this time he'll be retiring on the back of a beating.joshj909 wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 12:02Fury is 1/7 to retire after any given fight.jwfg wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 11:57IMO Fury will retire after the Usyk fight.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 11:25

The humiliation of getting floored by a middle-aged cage fighter must be all consuming,Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 13:05He might retire before the Usyk fight.jwfg wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 11:57IMO Fury will retire after the Usyk fight.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 11:25

Yeah, but you don't like guy, so you'll forgive me for saying that you may be the slightest bit biased.

Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
That's not true. I've always been a fan of AJ but after his defeat I then classed him as another David Price, and still stand by that.
If I didn't like the guy I wouldn't have travelled from North York's to London to see him fight Washington.
Imo, AJ hasn't got the 'eye of the tiger' anymore. He's very gun shy now and doesn't like a tear up.
Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
He might retire before the Usyk fight.
Fingers crossed.
The sooner the fat fool and his family of pond life are out of boxing the better.

very possibly. Del does manage to keep getting paydays though, somehow.jwfg wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 06:19I would be absolutely amazed if it was Del. Ngannou ran Fury pretty close and some people think he won. I don't see him fighting a guy who's lost thirteen times, who barely anyone outside the UK has heard of. IMO, it'll be Usyk, AJ or Wilder, a padded nobody or a novelty fight.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 06:09definitely, has been one of the highest earners the past few yrs, and seems to have the Saudi bag too.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 05:48

I think Zhang makes the most business sense.jwfg wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 07:23It'll be AJ or Wilder.joshj909 wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 07:04I guess we just have to work out who is the biggest name with the most padded record. Greg Hardy and Hasim Rahman Jr are two that stand out to me. Yoka is a beatable Olympic gold medalist so that would be quite a claim if he was to beat him plus he's a pretty big name in French boxing. Jarrell Miller would actually be fairly intriguing. Wilder is a bigger name but higher risk. You could them have someone like Dubois who has a padded record but we don't actually know if he's any good, smaller name than Chisora though.jwfg wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 06:19

AJ or Wilder is a much bigger fight right now. Zhang isn't Zou Shiming, he's not a massive name in China. Outside of it, boxing people know him and people who watch TNT, but that's it. Business to one side, why fight a southpaw with six weeks training?Frostieballs wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 07:35I think Zhang makes the most business sense.jwfg wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 07:23It'll be AJ or Wilder.joshj909 wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 07:04

I am basing it on the premise that Joshua, Wilder, Fury and Usyk are paired off.jwfg wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 10:38AJ or Wilder is a much bigger fight right now. If you were Shelly Finkel, would you advise Deontay to fight Ngannou for a massive purse as a tune up for AJ?Frostieballs wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 12:31I am basing it on the premise that Joshua, Wilder, Fury and Usyk are paired off.

Easy night's work for Wilder and AJ IMO.

Who should Francis fight next?
Whoever makes the most cash.
Coz the others are just waiting and waiting and making excuses and waiting and…..
Enter Francis. Timing. Earn dough. Get out
Fury. Eat, drink, talk nonsense. Then wake up. “Oh sh1t. Frank, Dev, Frank ya dossers, Sausages what’s going on? Fire up the Passat ya dossers “
Usyk “ I’m not feel. Dollars going down drain”
Saudi bloke rubbing hand “ ah good the build up to fight will be 7 hours endorsing Ice tea and Emirates

Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
As I said … I’m basing it on the wildly hopefully assumption AJ Wilder is basically done.jwfg wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 12:43If you were Shelly Finkel, would you advise Deontay to fight Ngannou for a massive purse as a tune up for AJ?Frostieballs wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 12:31I am basing it on the premise that Joshua, Wilder, Fury and Usyk are paired off.
If anyone starts taking tune ups or delaying we all know loads of things could derail it.

AJ wants to fight in December, Ngannou needs a dance partner. We shall see.Frostieballs wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 18:18As I said … I’m basing it on the wildly hopefully assumption AJ Wilder is basically done.jwfg wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 12:43If you were Shelly Finkel, would you advise Deontay to fight Ngannou for a massive purse as a tune up for AJ?Frostieballs wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 12:31

Re: Ngannou to fight on 23.12. - who will he fight?
Nightmare scenario for Francis is for Fury to fight uysk, AJ v Wilder, all have rematches and triologies leaving him to fight Dubois to stay relevant!
