He was also rusty. You need to fight more than that. Perhaps if he fought 2 or 3 guys in the top 50 in the last year, the result could have been different. I don't know why these guys are so inactive.![]()
They get paid so much that they don't need to fight regularly anymore.
Credit to Joseph Parker for getting out 4 times this year.
Even Joshua got out 3 times this year and that's unheard of for top line guys these days.
I suppose they had no other choice as both were trying to rebuild after big losses, because you can bet if they still held trinkets, they'd be out once, or twice a year tops.
Wilder has lost his hunger because he has shown little desire to get back since losing to Fury in the 3rd fight.
I bet he only took the Parker fight because the Saudis waved a massive cheque in his direction.
I think his future lies in crossover type fights because he looks like he can no longer hang with the big boys.
