I hope they arrest that nasty stingray that apparently stabbed the animal conservationist. Marine animals of the flat variety will be called in for questioning, and, any with missing barbs will treated with the utmost suspicion.
As for the intellectual female eunuch herself, pouring scorn on the public grief that met Irwins demise, because it was compared to the outpouring of grief that followed the death of Diana, is snobbery of the most disgusting variety.
Diana's fortune of marrying into the most famous royal dynasty and doing all those good works is equalled by the conservationist works of a guy that wasn't frightened of showing his eccentricities and outright enthusiasm for what he does.

God, I remember the Really Wild Show. In fact I am of an age where I remember it being "The Really Wild ROAD Show." With Terry Nutkins and the guy with the lisp.
Anyway, I don't want to disrespect Irwin here. For some he may have done a few contraversial things, but at least he had enthusiasm and a sincerety for what he did. But I can't help thinking about the way he died. It's one of those things you can't quite believe. A bit like Rod Hull falling off the roof when fixing his ariel to watch a Man U game, or Tommy Cooper dying with his legs coming out from behind the curtain. Has a certain degree of the bizarre but almost innevitability.

Tommy Coopers death was watched by millions - and most thought it was just part of his act. I was only a kid, but remember seeing Tommy legs coming out quite well.
