I know Spencer Fearon thinks ill of him. Didn't like how Tebbutt released texts etc like a child. And I know it's childish on my part, but he looks like a middle class sausage which makes me think worse of him being involved in the sport.

Inuendo of illigal activity at best perhapseven ruin or cause boxxer big problems but then it would or couldbe a law suit because theresNO CRIME been committed . If theres invoices and reciepts . ITdoes.nt matter if hepaid him in cherries and limp lettuce . Cash or bankdraft . Boxing news have had their fingers burnt recently over publshing false information, so maybe they are just being more careful this time.
Did Tebbutt actually buy the publication or just the YT channel? I thought BN was owned by Kelsey media?

Terry's beef with Tebbutt goes back a few years, briefly Terry feels he gave him a leg up in the industry then he blanked him at a show once Terry had served his purpose. He went in on him on a New Age pod a few years ago and from about 52 mins here he gives an entertaining breakdown of the Tebbutt takeover of BN:
I like Matt Christie of boxing News, so I’m surprised to hear this. I think he has integrity, although he’s clearly got a major blindspot on certain things like Elliot Worsell, all over the magazine every week, pushing aside any other decent writers they got there, he’d happily give you four pages on a cheese sandwich he had for lunch.
I’ve never heard of this Terry bloke, I just had to look up who he is - he sounds quite savvy, although he clearly has a massive ego which is probably the same with Tebbit and why they clashed. He's just another YouTuber that suddenly became a boxing expert without learning the business first. Kugan was the same. Suddenly appeared in Eddie's car one day and here we are. Fair play,he's run with it,stuck it out and made a decent business.
Tebbutt comes across a proper wally. One of them who always comes across condescending, and talks in an annoying tone all the time as if he feels he is above who is talking too, just another one looking for clout and pats on the back on social media.
Says a lot about his character as a man blanking terry, could be totally wrong about tebbutt as I obviously don't know him, but he just reeks of that one geezer who always thinks he has a better answer and talks about someone when they are out of earshot
