Yes, I am still involved with BN, and more than ever. And yes, that may consitute a bias of sorts. But it's something I'm very proud to do, and that pride comes from a deep sense of respect for the publication that I always had, and would still have even if I was just a reader.

I think it's evolved well though, there's a lot more features in it now after it absorbed BMs work (wish John Exshaws book reviews were revived though).

During covid it was arguably the best it's ever been with zero boxing taking place. The way they went through the archives and rustled up so many brilliant stories just showed how valuable it is to the sport.

That book review bloke. If I remember correctly his reviews were savage. Slaughtered some books didn’t he?.

Edgelord. BN has been an integral part of my life for decades, and I look forward to it being on the mat every Thursday when get I home from work. I honestly don't see how any boxing fan could be without it.

No neither. But was a subscriber from the mid 80s to around 2000

Pretty much same for me. Then the change in editors, then another change with almost half of it about the AMs. Don't get me wrong, I liked to keep up with AMs but a huge chunk was then devoted to it and less on the pro stuff. Change of writers, change of format, just a few too many changes that kind of put me off it.

Then went to other online sites etc, keep up with the latest. Plus, loved the older paper style. Had hundreds of weekly editions, like a lot of us. Crazy ex binned them all, one day when I was out.

Bint got the boot, too.

haha have not heard the word Bint for ages. There's not too much am stuff in it now, usually 4 pages. I really like the 2 more historic columns.

I subscribe to the iPad and paper edition just in case it doesn’t arrive. I love it. This may be sad but I open the copy and read the last paragraph of Matts column dreading the words “unfortunately this is the last edition “. Like what happened with BM!!!.

good edition this week, just landed today through letterbox. Funny headline on front cover about AJ-Ngannou, 'LEVELS: World-class boxer obliterates mixed martial artist with sickening ease'. Editor's article sums up the Paul-Tyson fight well with 'what a monstrosity'. Always love a Hauser article and he's got 2 pages on Joshua-Ngannou and the heavyweights this week. The interview on back page with a 2 and 0 young pro from Scotland Luke Bibby who travels 600 miles a week to train - that is dedication.

Really enjoyable article by Miles Temperton in this week, shows a picture of welterweight greats from days of old, in the 1930s and the story behind the fighters. Reminds you how hard the fights used to be, with it referring to a champion in the photo who had won the title in 1894 over 20 rounds!
