i loved foster jr's ko of a rampaging leva kirokosyan for the ebu title. one of the fights i can remember like yesterday. leva had badly bashed up scott lawton shortly before and was a solid fave if i recall. foster was under heavy pressure from the go but landed some crisp straight shots as kirk charged in with his bombs

id say foster had a pretty good career tbh

Steve Robinson's boy is Welsh champ

Steve was mustard. I know he had a lot of losses but his story is inspiring. Didn't he win a ebu belt after losing to Nas too?

I would have loved to have seen him and Charles Shepherd fight. Nice blend of styles

He sure did, 10 fights after the Naz fight. Ironically he won it against Naz's last opponent Calvo, after also losing an attempt at the same (EBU) title to another Naz opponent in Billy Hardy. He went on to lose it but fight for it again. He defended the EBU title twice and was fighting for titles up until his penultimate fight. What a fighter! Still looks super healthy and happy too.

true, to use a usa example chad dawson's dad was 1-4 for example . robert guerrero's was 0-7 with 6 losses by ko

Steve the viking Foster had a reasonable career and i think won commonwealth title.

His son, also Steve, looked the absolute business in his early fights and was given the big push by sky (i think)... but he ended up having nothing more than a decent career. There were even more trinket belts around in those days.

he did indeed with the CW at light middle. Challenged for so many other titles too, deserved his nickname fully.
