god bless Scott, remember that fight. I aways thought Dec conducted himself very well throughout it, very hard to know what to say or do with such a tragedy. I used to watch Dec, he was sponsored by my friend's business, lovely lad. Trains Gainsborough BK Pro Rico Hoye now, Rico is a top BK fighter who trains people in boxing MMA and BK, fights with a colostomy bag, tough tough man.MasterG wrote: ↑06 Apr 2024, 14:31Few names there. Grannum is one of those journeymen you know could/sometimes should win so many more than he does. Not knocking him, it's an art form and he is talented.

female co-commentator is very good.
Re: Dave Allen v Jake Darnell
It shows really what Allen is capable of. He's not scared anyone in the top 20 (UK). Personally I think he's just picking up a few quid here and there with these fights. I'm guessing tonight he's just earned £5000 which isn't bad.

Re: Dave Allen v Jake Darnell
Really, MasterG ? I'd be surprised if he got £5k for a 4 rounder against a guy with a long losing record.
Allen kept busy during the 4 rounds and at least didn't sleepwalk his way through it.
Forget Dave's talk of having much boxing ability....it's levels. When he steps up against a winner, the result will always be the same.

Yeh I think that was a 5k fight. I know boxers who get around that much at this levelTHEBUTCH wrote: ↑06 Apr 2024, 15:24 Really, MasterG ? I'd be surprised if he got £5k for a 4 rounder against a guy with a long losing record.

Pie eating contest now it seems
Re: Dave Allen v Jake Darnell
Fair enough, MasterG. I'm surprised, because I wouldn't have thought boxing live on YouTube equates to the normal TV money boxers can expect.

Re: Dave Allen v Jake Darnell
another HW fight, Curtis Woodhouse's lad making his debut King.
Re: Dave Allen v Jake Darnell
If King's as limited in experience as the commentators are claiming, King could be worth keeping an eye on.
Re: Dave Allen v Jake Darnell
King looks good. Ref did the right thing stopping it there.
