Almost all fighters have jobs, inc British champs if they dont have a big promoter behind them.

Jay Harris for example works in Amazon.

Also the money fighting isnt great so if you take a day off work either side you are losing a couple of days pay on top of it.

The last time I fought Scott Dixon, in 2010, in Malta, I worked the door in the night, flew out in the morning, fought, flew back after and was on the door the same night with 8 stitches in my head.

So the only night I missed working was when I was fighting.

Miguel Matthews worked in the coal mine, drove to the fight after work and was down the mine again in the morning.

Always too damn tight to miss out on a days work!!

They are not British but talking about jobs, Hank Lundy has his disinfestation company, while Mauricio Herrera hacks/pimps arcade machines at request.

Not as far as I know, she just looks like one
I swear I confuse her for a model everytime I see her on IG

I know Canelo worked as an itinerant like Baldomir, serving ice cream.

Really? For gipsy circuses?

Zab Judah is a registered nurse for old people with dementia or Alzheimer, a fitting job for a former boxer...

Remember BJS trying to- well, I won’t say intimidate- trying to unsettle Khirtsizde at a pre-fight presser?

Lol. The Georgian wasn’t unsettled, was in fact conspicuously settled/un-unsettled.

Conspicuous in his absence was BJS’s kid trying to punch the Georgian in the balls, coincidentally enough.....

It sounds a lovely jail! In Hull you only have to worry about Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and York!
Though I did tip a York lad off once it wouldn’t be a good idea to try tax Tony Booth, he thought he was just an old man!
