Maybe it's you who doesn't understand betting.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑09 Mar 2024, 14:58That was a good bet. It turns out that Joshua was probably more accurately priced at about 1/20. Definitely would be near that if they had a rematch.
You don't understand gambling and will end up losing your dosh mate.
Since September, I've had a 1,712.2% return on my original stake from betting.

I thought it was a bad bet before the fight but judging by the fact that he looked a 1/20 shot you have to say that it had value at 2/7.
I've got 1.5k on William Zepeda to KO Maxi Hughes at 1.62. That's what you call a good bet.

sounds like it, stands to win £930 should it come in, as the price is now 1.28, I'd say it's a good bet regardless of whether it lands or not.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑11 Mar 2024, 19:09jesus does that mean you've bet £1500?jwfg wrote: ↑10 Mar 2024, 07:36Only if it wins mate. I'm watching Campbell Hattons opponent and I'd love to bet him but the robbery that Hatton got before (Marcus McDonnell bent as a two bob note in that one) really puts me off sadly.

no one can comfortably bet vs Hatton on MR cards sadly. If he got knocked out twice he'd a get MD win.

Re: Betting thread
You know they will roll out Markus McDonnell again. As Frank (Kellie) Maloney used to say - At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed you.
I'm not sure what the upside of Campbell getting helped to wins over journeymen types is? He's not going to become an operator at Brit level, nevermind World level.

Re: Betting thread
It's probably to save face for Matchroom putting their money behind him, they know he's a dud, and likely looking for the right time to cash him out, this isn't it.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑19 Mar 2024, 17:47 You know they will roll out Markus McDonnell again. Re: Betting thread
Anyone fancy Brian Mendoza to win tonight?
Re: Betting thread
Hughie by stoppage at an incredibly generous 1/4. 25% return on your money.
Re: Betting thread
Any value to be had on the undercard of Fury v Usyk?
I’m picking Usyk for the main event but IMO it’s a 50/50 fight reflected in the odds

I like Kabayal to best Sanchez at 13/8. He looked good last time out, and Sanchez hasn't overly impressed me.
Another one is Moses Itauma. He's widely expected to get the early KO, but the prices for round betting are mental as you get to R4 and beyond, gotta be worth a quid or 2
Re: Betting thread
1/20 for Moses by stoppage is good value, I had to shop around a fair bit to get it, but it's good value. 5% return on your money.WestEndRiot wrote: ↑17 May 2024, 11:15I like Kabayal to best Sanchez at 13/8. He looked good last time out, and Sanchez hasn't overly impressed me.

moses is the knockover king, guy will probably tumble quickly from a glancing shot and then get counted out while grinning
