fthink fury v aj would still be a massive fight and could easily sell wembley out twice over , thinkbefore the ngannou right (fury)i would definitely favoured fury but since then and aj's form picking up id lean to aj , i think the trilogy of fights with wilder has seriously taken its toll and on wilder given his performance against parker

It does seem his punch resistance might be waning, although also that was one hell of a shot Usyk landed, but he was absolutely banjoed by it, was all over the shop. I watched it back, he took 17 shots in a row from Usyk, many of them flush hard shots.

12th round of the first fight AJ was on almost KO on the ropes. Usyk could have finished him of, but for some reason he held back.

I get you have to go on a damage limitation campaign, your boss too, heard him saying he thought Fury nicked it by a round but come on, Fury was hurt more than in any of the Wilder fights. Just rewatched it, fair play to Fury, he is a tough mo fo, it was a great fight.

Agree there is more appetite for this than Usyk v either now... total pick 'em fight now. Based on the Usyk performances, either of them could KO the other. As with all AJ fights, he just needs to go guns blazing and hope for the best.

Tough fight to call as I can imagine either guy landing and the punches having a big effect. Fury is the better boxer of the two and it's possible AJ could just shut down under the feinting and movement. He might get caught with the odd punch from range which just makes him get in his head and overthink it. Both guys can be hurt so it's just a hard one to call really. Gun to my head I'd probably have to pick Fury as he would be the one winning rounds you'd think but AJ is definitely live in the fight and if he lands, there is a very good chance he takes Fury out. It's close to 50:50 at the moment.

Wouldn't be upset to not see Fury v Usyk again.

If Fury loses a second fight, folks will say he is washed and lose interest in the AJ fight.

More likely the rematch of Usyk-Fury happens first. Fury vs AJ is still a huge attraction, but Fury won't be happy to negotiate there without the champion's privillages.

That's very true. The cards were a bit wider than Fury-Usyk but AJ did win rounds. But at no point in either of AJ's fights did he look close to dominant, which Fury certainly did from rounds 3-7. AJ nicked his rounds. Fury also landed a fair bit more on Usyk than AJ (157 to 124).

All that said, I think there's a very good chance AJ catches up with Fury, who can be hurt badly and whose concentration and stamina clearly don't last 12 rounds.
