Guess i'm a mug , i'm certainly not a AJ nut hugger , he has power , but not superman power , he's a bit stiff a bit ponderous , does'nt get a 10 out of 10 for anything , however i just think DD will dog it when its really put on him , basing that on him doing it before and AJ will just be too smart for him , DD has to be the dumbest fighter out there his lack of knowing what to do is unbelievable , i'm racking my brains trying to figure out how he's got so far , and can only come up with , Youth , fitness , strenght , bit of determination and a reasonable punch , throw that in with lack of talent in the division and he's done allright , but AJ , Ruiz , Fury , Usyk , all really school him

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois - who wins?
AJ looks great when nothing coming back but can be tentative when punches are flying in his direction and when he does get caught his gas tank can be empty really quick.
DDD showed he is open to that long right, but also showed a great jab, throws more shots that most other heavyweights and has shown great resilience in his last two fights.
AJ could drop him and finish him with a big right but DDD could also have a tired AJ staggering around the ring like Bambi after the 6th round.
AJ the favourite but both have their flaws which the other could exploit.

I think this is a terrible fight for DDD right now.
I’d keep him ticking along in low risk fights for the next year or so.
AJ is going to tee off on him and put his lights out.

Defensivly cute , Just can't see thiat happening , alls i have a vison of is , Aj , who does carry a decent jab , coming out , doubling a jab up and launching that big right hand , after he's rattled his brain a couple of times , , someone may tell DD he is allowed to move away from the right hand , he'll put that dumb look on his face and say ok then , after which he will move into a left hook, get the other side of his brain rattled , so he'll decide i know i'll lift my hands up and protect my head , then get hit with a left rip , go down and once again say stuff that . Take a knee , look all gormless at the ref , get counted out , and then say , he missed the count

I was impressed by Dubois' feel for distance against Gorman, where he moved in and out of range subtly to slip and counter. Stay close too long and he's really good, but we've since found out his slow feet aren't suited to movers.
I think AJ beats him if he's happy to do so on the backfoot.

Think if AJ can out footwork , Ruiz , he can certainly out do DD big difference with Gorman and the top 3 or 4Grilling Machine wrote: ↑03 Jun 2024, 18:41 I was impressed by Dubois' feel for distance against Gorman, where he moved in and out of range subtly to slip and counter. He managed to out footwork a morbidly obese Ruiz in the rematch. A lighter Ruiz battered him.coneye wrote: ↑03 Jun 2024, 21:05Think if AJ can out footwork , Ruiz , he can certainly out do DD big difference with Gorman and the top 3 or 4Grilling Machine wrote: ↑03 Jun 2024, 18:41 I was impressed by Dubois' feel for distance against Gorman, where he moved in and out of range subtly to slip and counter. Has much has it pains me , I'll pay you that one , But then again a slim down dedicated and motivated Ruiz stops Fury quickerBigDoofus wrote: ↑04 Jun 2024, 03:45He managed to out footwork a morbidly obese Ruiz in the rematch. Yeah, I think the Ruiz-rematch version wins with superior fluidity; bit more WD40 on him. My only doubt is whether his rep-renewing knockouts might tempt him into overplaying his offence again. Just like the first Ruiz fight.
I see it as AJ's to lose in other words. Could happen though - it's not like Dubois isn't dangerous. I rate him above Whyte for example.

me too re DDD > Whyte. Also far more likeable and not a massive repeated PED abuser.Grilling Machine wrote: ↑04 Jun 2024, 18:00Yeah, I think the Ruiz-rematch version wins with superior fluidity; bit more WD40 on him. three potential opponents
Zhilei Zhang
Daniel Dubois
Joseph Parker
Zhilei Zhang
Daniel Dubois
Joseph Parker
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois - who wins?
Hope it's not Parker II. We've seen it before and don't see it being too different, Joshua would still be wide favourite I think. Parker should face Kabayel if anyone and then get the shot at the unified champ.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑06 Jun 2024, 05:19 three potential opponents

Joshua vs Zhang is obviously fireworks. High risk, high reward in terms of respect from rival fans.
Joshua vs Dubois is a big British fight which sells well. Joshua the clear favourite there though.

What a card this would be. Also seen rumours of Josh Kelly vs Liam Smith

Will bob let Inoue fight in UK?

Parker is a better fight for DD nowFrostieballs wrote: ↑03 Jun 2024, 17:34 I think this is a terrible fight for DDD right now.
I’d keep him ticking along in low risk fights for the next year or so.
AJ is going to tee off on him and put his lights out.
