The Georgian did too. To be honest he had a harder fight in the Yorkshire final than he's had out there.

He gave away over 15kg in that fight. Ticked a load of boxes as there’s not much competition in this country at that age and weight, showed he can fight when he has to.

Leo and his teammate Adam Macca were at The O2 as a guest of Lee Eaton and Eddie Hearn...

Just an update. Leo won the Europeans this year boxing a year up in age. 4 fights in a week, 2 by way of. Another youth title and stopped the Scottish champion in 1. 7-0 (4) for the season. Sparring loads of pros regularly now. Big names sniffing around him.

Yes, is that where he was sparring CBS? He's just got a GB assessment, too. He was only 17 this year, he's an 07 youth.

He's been sparring down south a few times. He's really close friends with Adam Macca and goes to stay with him.

Another outing for Leo in the youth 3 nations in Cardiff. Boxed up a weight at 92+ to get a bout. Stopped the Scottish kid in the second round. Yorks Luke Moore also won gold. Both current European gold medalists.

Haringey Cup success for Leo today. Stopped the number two in England yesterday and beat the giant New Zealand champ today. 10-0(6) for the season so far. Another York kid, Brad Casey won the open class seniors at cruiser. He is 19.

I didn't go myself. There was a lot of good youths in it.
