I can power through loads more sets and have got bigger fast. I've not used anything other than creatine, so don't know what actual banned substances would make you feel like.

I can imagine fighters thinking, well if everyone else is doping and I'm not, I don't have a chance, and if I can dope, get away with it and not harm my health too much it's actually protecting my health by not getting absolutely clobbered in the ring by a juicer.

definitely not condoning drug cheats, but I've just had my eyes opened to how supplements can make a difference.
I'm totally ignorant about this sort of stuff, the closest I've ever got to a supplement is a vitamin C tablet. Have you had any side effects from creatine? Must say your first paragraph has got me very tempted, especially as planning on boosting my training over the next few months.
I bought some creatine monohydrate powder, the decent stuff, and use the little scoop measure to put some on my bran flakes in the morning. I cycle everywhere anyway and gym most days with a 5km to finish, lots of water all day, to make sure I'm burning up/using the creatine. No side effects after a few weeks.

I did try it years and years ago and stopped quickly because it gave me stomach issues, cramps, anxiety etc but honestly that could have been because I was taking too much creatine (and smoking weed all the time).

I read stuff years ago linking it to kidney issues which was another reason I stopped but everything I read nowadays says it's safe and well-tested. Definitely helps me, gives me a boost.

It’s odd isn’t it, and I have done the supplement, that Creatine is not considered performance enhancing when it clearly is. Why? I’m guessing it’s because of the power and money of companies that market and sell it.

Cheers :TU: As I say above, zero clue about any sort of supplements, regardless of legal or illegal. Definitely going to give it a go, not sure why I've never even considered it before. Think maybe that old episode of South Park where Cartman tried to be a beefcake put me off for life

I take Ozempic , absolutly fantastic drug after years and years of struggling trying to get it under control 18 months of using Ozempic and my diabetes is FINALLY under control ,, big relief because i have glocuama and that was reaching medication stage , but has not got any worse since i started Ozempic .

You lose a bit of weight with it , i lost about 10 kilo , but its only weight loss that makes you feel a bit better , and its not worth it your better of losing the weight through diet , because there are side effects , Nausea is the main one , certain foods , or too much of one food for me pasta , can make you feel yuk ,, i have found myself for no reason , just driving along , and having to brake jump out and throw up ,, it comes very quick and goes very quick and thats still there after 18 months of taking it .

But for me its worth it , my sugar levels after years and years are under control

My daughter in laws sister used it , she's a big fat horrible lazy cow , she told me she was going on it i said you can't its only for diabetics , not weight loss , govt came down hard on doctors prescribing it for weight loss , it caused a shortage and diabetics could'nt get it , govt suggested they would support anyone with side effects who were prescribed it and decided to sue doctors , it stopped it to a large extent and now its available again .

Anyway this big fat horrible cow of a woman , bullied her mother who is a diabetic into getting it and then giving it to her , like i said hoorrible woman took her elderly mothers medication of her , so fatty was around 130 kilo started it lost about O KILOS because the lazy cow thought i'm on a wonder drug , its going to shed my weight so i can stuff more cake and chocolate in my face , she never lost weight , but did get the nausea side effects , so after 12 months or so fatcow , , decided to stop it and let her mother use her own medication , and presto , she put more weight on and balloned up to around 140 kilo .

   Laughing my balls off , hate the woman with a passion , but my son dispite me telling him not too, invites her and her just has bad son to familly bbq's and functions , yep some idiot actually shagged her once when he was pissed many years ago , i think thats what makes her so bad she got a taste and has never had it since , no one would go there .

But my other son said he only invites her because we laugh at what you do , i was suprised and said what do i do , he laughed and said we have watched you , ask want a chocolate , and throw it to her purposly short of the chair , then watch her struggle like fooook to get out the chair and pick iot up ,,, Got to admit i did'nt know i'd been sprung

I've ordered a big tub of creatine powder from Amazon, hopefully arriving end of the week. Apparently you should do 'loading' for the first 5 days and take like 4 times as much as usual, before reducing to a normal regular level? Will be interesting to see if I get any results.

I never load anymore, just take the 5mg from the start & it still works for me.
Also not sure if loading phase is great for your kidneys or stomach.

And the negative side effects are generally not a major sacrifice to your health like many other PEDs.

100%. I didn't bother with the loading and didn't have the stomach mayhem and cramps I had years ago. 5mg a day.

I get it but isn’t that just like saying testosterone is a natural hormone and so it makes no difference if people use it?
Also look at creatine powder - it’s a highly processed product, it’s not delivered in its natural form and it’s admitted to be performance enhancing.

I imagine that designing a test (or even establishing what a 'normal' range is) for an amino acid like creatine would be quite difficult, given that they're about as basic a biological building block as it gets.

Hormones are orders of magnitude more chemically complex, perform specialised functions, and are often balanced with other hormones (testosterone and epitestosterone for example), and they're not as fundamental to the chemical functioning of the body (you can live without testosterone, whereas without creatine your musculoskeletal system would instantly stop working). All of which probably makes it a lot easier to work out what the normal range of a given hormone, or its ratio against another hormone, is meant to be (and indeed how much there is in the subject's system).

My science ends at GCSE though, so Sean or anyone else who actually knows something about the subject, feel free to correct me
