Can be a non-ppv headliner.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑17 Jul 2024, 06:31 I don't see it as PPV, but I do see it as a really good show.
I mean Frank tried doing Dubois-Joyce as ppv and it would have been, had it not been for covid.
Then when he was forced to put it on regular sub, he said he looks after the fans

Heavyweights Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke agree to rematch of their March thriller
The standout news from the latest British Boxing Board of Control championship circular was the confirmation that a deal has been reached for Fabio Wardley, 17-0-1 (16 KOs), to defend his British heavyweight title against Frazer Clarke, 8-0-1 (6 KOs) in a rematch.
In March, the two boxed to a thrilling split draw and a return has seemed an inevitability since.
There have been rumors that the fight will land on the undercard of the undisputed light heavyweight title fight between WBC, WBO and IBF champion, Artur Beterbiev, and WBA title holder, Dmitry Bivol, which takes place in Saudi Arabia on October 12 but – as yet – there has been no official confirmation.
With a number of British titles having changed hands over the past couple of months, this month’s circular was relatively quiet although there were a couple of interesting updates.
Last month, the Board announced that they were waiting for Ben Shalom to provide them with a date and venue for the vacant junior middleweight title fight between Sam Gilley and Louis Greene. This month, they have put the fight back out to purse bids.

I’m pretty sure they’ve done a deal with Saudi. Likely to be undercard of Beterbiev/Bivol to help make it PPV in the U.K.
Re: Fabio Wardley vs. Frazer Clarke II - Who wins?
Agree Wardley improves a little each fight, but surely Big Fraze should improve more - He was the one who'd never had a real fight before, no ?
Re: Fabio Wardley vs. Frazer Clarke II - Who wins?
I don't agree, I think Frazer's overall experience (as a top level am for many years) is a lot greater than Wardley's and so he's not going to have learned as much from that as Wardley, skills-wise anyway. He must have had a few proper dust-ups in that long amateur career at least, for example the am fight against Joyce (without headguards) was a real tear-up.

Frazer Clarke confirms agreement for rematch with Fabio Wardley
Frazer Clarke has confirmed that an agreement has been reached for a rematch with the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley.
The 33 year old challenged Wardley, 29, in March, when the undefeated pair produced a fine fight for both titles. The bout was scored a draw and and a rematch has been in demand ever since.
The British Boxing Board of Control recently revealed that an agreement had been reached for them to fight again, and Clarke has become the first of the two fighters to speak and said that the full details will soon be known.
“It’s agreed and it’s on," he told Sky Sports News. "I’m always getting asked on the street, ‘When is the rematch happening?’
"I can’t give that information yet but we are back on and you’ll get the news very soon."
Although Clarke could not confirm a date or location for the highly anticipated rematch, it has been suggested that their fight will feature on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev-Dmitry Bivol on October 12 in Saudi Arabia.
“There’s room for improvement which I know now, but I’ve had more experience; I believe in myself a lot more,” Clarke added. “I’m full of confidence and I’m going in there to do one job and that’s to knock Fabio Wardley out.
"So winning won’t be enough for me this time, I want to put a real job on but it’s going to be a tough task – just like the first one. May the best man win, but I’m backing myself big time on this one.”

Chuck in Inoue vs Wood, Ball or Davies? Sheeraz vs Eubank would be good for this card too.gregregegg wrote: ↑07 Jun 2024, 03:48Exactly this is a perfect Wembley undercard fight…
Moses vs dacres (if he wins) for the English.
Johnny fisher vs Adeley (if he loses) for the southern area…
All domestic levles covered with cracking fights.
A stacked heavyweight bill would be sweet

So the rematch of possibly the most blood-and-guts British heavyweight title fight in the last 60 years will take place outside Britain. Terrible for British fans, even if the pay is no doubt great for the fighters.

Doesn't he usually only fight on one fight deals? I wonder who Frank will have him lined up against should he win/lose against Clarke.
Dubois, Joyce, Chisora, Itauma?

Joyce-Miller makes a lot of sense to me. To see who's best in a fight with so many shared attributes, and a decent win for either to climb a rung.
I'm annoyed they've put Wardley-Clarke so far down the card, because I'm not usually home that early. For me it's the chief support.

I would have
1. Biv - Bet
2. Opetaia - Massey
3. Wardley - Clarke
4. Stevenson
5. Eubank
6. Whittaker
If I was promoting though, I would consider having Ben Whittaker fight after Eubank, largely just to piss off Eubank and to let him know he’s not really a big name and he needs to play ball in the future. Sick of his BS. Also most people will likely be more interested to see Whittaker TBF

Fabio Wardley Reveals Reason Why He Signed With allegedly And Queensberry
He has now revealed why he has made the choice to work with allegedly and Queensberry, after it was announced that he had signed a mult-fight promotional agreement.
“At this stage in my career, aligning myself with the best promoter is crucial and I couldn’t be in better hands than with Frank and George. Seeing the massive fights and shows that Queensberry have put together over the past few years has me really excited about the future and what we can achieve together.”
Warren now works with a number of big names in the heavyweight division, including Tyson Fury, Zhilei Zhang, Daniel Dubois, Moses Itauma and others, and he’s pleased to welcome Wardley to his ranks.
“The heavyweight division could not be more exciting at the moment and Fabio has already shown himself to be a serious part of that with some real standout performances.
Fabio understandably had a lot of offers on the table and I could not be more pleased that he has chosen Queensberry to promote his career at such a pivotal time. He has a huge rematch in October and once he comes through that I truly believe he’s ready to challenge anyone in the top 10.”
Wardley is managed by Michael Ofo, and he has shared the excitement to have Wardley joining forces with Warren and Queensberry.
“It’s fantastic to have allegedly and Queensberry on board promoting Fabio. Over the last few years they have promoted nearly every single major heavyweight fight. We look forward to being involved in some massive nights with them over the coming years.”

You have to place Stevenson high against any fighter of similar repute, but if Wardley-Clarke lights up again he'll nuke the sandwich. And obviously Opetaia ranks above both in competitive fights, but unless something goes wrong for him this won't be.

Yeah I get it in terms of the matchups and potential fight quality, but Opetaia is world champ and considered number 1 so it just seems a bit disrespectful to but him behind a British fight.
