Stopped former world champion Samuel Peter
Also beat former world title challenger Wach, former British and Commonwealth champ Sexton and former cruiserweight challenger Arias. Hughie's beat a who's who of championship level opponents...
to be fair he beat Sexton for the British title and stopped him well, after losing a tight decision for a world title, not a bad comeback fight when he was 23.
I also think Hughie has always retained Hennessy as his manager which is very loyal - I could be wrong though.
I listened to the Peter Fury interview on Froch On Fighting the other day, Fury said Hughie needs to put up or shut up now, still blaming his food allergies on a lot of his issues but says he's over it all now and now needs to push on

Peter is always very honest in his boxing and general advice. I do respect that he's kept his own counsel regarding what happened between him and Tyson. I also like how he has stayed loyal to Mick Hennessey who is one of my favourite people in the sport.

I hope Hughie kicks on, I do like watching him.
Yeah he is a straight talker and honest, I didn’t realise he’d done time for drug offences though, thought he was the sensible one in the family lol.

Peter did proper time. Had a £1m POCA payment to make too. Refreshing as he only speaks of prison as he being awful as opposed to wearing it with pride like it was an achievement.
he showed decent skills and work rate and followed his corners plan - just hasnt got the power .
Thun was big lump and absorbed it no probs without really offering much back .
