Joyce-Miller makes a lot of sense to me. To see who's best in a fight with so many shared attributes, and a decent win for either to climb a rung.
I'm annoyed they've put Wardley-Clarke so far down the card, because I'm not usually home that early. For me it's the chief support.
Miller might see the 1-3 version of Joyce as a step down from drawing against Ruiz
Not saying it’s right or wrong but I think Miller is gonna get a fight as if he had beaten Ruiz.

Between Chisora and Sanchez he beat 6 absolute nobodies over 6 years. Definitely didn't deserve a title shot any time in that period. He also looked pretty bad in his fight against Smakici which was the last of those 6 opponents.
He was actually due to fight Fury when he was WBC champ as a voluntary defence but it didn't come off. His only time he might have deserved a shot was after Makhmudov which was only recently when Usyk and Fury have both been tied up.

Fabio Wardley doesn’t believe Frazer Clarke will be able to keep up with him in Oct. 12 sequel.
With Fabio Wardley set to rematch Frazer Clarke on Oct. 12, following their split draw back in March, Wardley tells Sky Sports that he can actually perform better in the sequel while he says Clarke fought as well as he could have. In that respect, Wardley rates his performance as a six or seven out of ten, which gives him great confidence that he’ll fare much better this time around.
“I don’t think he’s got too many more of those in his locker. That pushed him to the brink, that fight pushed him to the edge. Me, I’m still young and fresh and I’m still learning in every fight. There’s a lot I took from that fight and there’s a lot I can carry into the next one.”
Wardley continued by saying that after watching the first fight back many times he knows there a lot of adjustments he could have made by picking his shots better and not rushing in, and will be better prepared to do so next month.
And with fans having been treated to a fun heavyweight clash back in March, Wardley believes we can expect more of the same, even if he expects to clearly separate himself from Clarke in this outing.

In a training session shared by Sky Sports Boxing, the renowned former heavyweight world champion and boxing legend, Lennox Lewis, offered important advice to Frazer Clarke for his rematch against Fabio Wardley on October 12. This fight will be included on the card of Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol.
Clarke and Wardley fought to a draw in March in a bout for the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles. Now, Clarke is looking to correct mistakes with Lennox Lewis’s support.
“I was very impressed with your fight, and said, ‘Second time around, just fix a couple of things,” Lewis said, emphasizing that these adjustments could make the difference in the rematch.
Clarke, who was knocked down in the fifth round of his previous fight, acknowledged his shortcomings. “Since that day, I’m not a big fan of watching myself back, but I’ve been hammered, I’ve seen so much of myself from my last fight, and I’ve not looked at me doing anything correct. All we’ve looked at is the mistakes I made,” he said.
He also discussed the high expectations following his professional debut after winning a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Lewis, who won Olympic gold in 1988, agreed that the transition from amateur to professional is like a reset.
“If you’re boxing and your feet are in quicksand, that’s no way to box. You’re not going to get too far that way”. “All great heavyweights had great jabs, so you’ve got to develop that jab. Very important,” the former champion concluded.

A bit worryingly a greying, portly Lennox - when he did throw a proper combo - was faster than Frazer
Not sure whether I'll be able to see the fight as it will be a pay-wall job, but I still like it lots.
Wardley is such a confident fecker, let's stuff go and a bit too fast for Frazer but he also loads-up and he's clearly facing a huge fella who has some massive spirit/resilience and is supremely pissed-off into the bargain. Getting the best possible advice from Lennox as well.
Will the winner defend the British or try move to world title level. If the British goes vacant… it would be fornicating awesome if Moses vs fisher got ordered… (if they both win)
Would be a little bit AJ vs Whyte vibes. Very different with Moses not being an Olympic gold medalist… , but like a genuine world title prospect vs a solid guy that’s a bit raw but can bang.
It’s possible that one of these two will walk in the ring with a better game plan than last time, but still it’s hard not to envisage another close, career shortening battle once it heats up.

I don't follow the fights nearly as much as I used to, but this match-up actually gets me right back in the mood.
Wardley talked very intelligently to Nelson about burning through energy because he was too impatient to finish things and then getting hit right back by Clarke whilst he was trying to recoup so he could go again.
So Wardley has seemingly identified the fault (to his credit) but he's surely having to go right at Clarke again and runs the very same risk as well? I am not sure I can see Fabio not properly going for his shots and dancing through 12 rounds.
