He was looking for the home run hit and neglected the boxing side of things.
Bivol showed core boxing ability among other things, he's going to be hard to beat.
He certainly is.
That fight was just what he needed whilst Beterbiev gathers a little rust.
The speed and accuracy with which Bivol reacted after getting clipped in the first round was highly impressive.
It seems to suggest that he's normally fighting and winning well within his limits but if needed he can up his pace at any time.
The longer it takes for Beterbiev to get ready the better this is going to get for Bivol.
One of them has more power but one of them is also a lot easier to hit.
Even as a Beterbiev fan, I think it's looking like a 50/50 fight.
