Wilder could never box, but he found the shot. Wardly is the same. he will always look very beatable, but he is always a chance at finding the shot.

Not saying wardly punches as hard as wilder. probably not even as good a boxer... but wilder made it to world champ for years and years. wardly probably wont make it there, but he will always be a punchers chance.

His attitude is what makes him special.

wardley just had a draw against clarke last fight, getting a bit ahead of ourselves. sensational win but plenty of guys in with a good shot or better to beat him. and i say this having rated fabio and picked him to beat clarke both times

Reminded me of that heartbreaking footage maybe a year or so ago of the fighter who was throwing punches at an imaginary opponent while facing the wrong way
I dunno, I thought he was just moving his hand instinctively to where his face had been smashed in.

I’m with you. Darren barker said it in commentary where these well schooled amateurs come unstuck against fighters like Wardley because they throw unorthodox shots. In all honesty Clarke will be annoyed with himself for getting caught like that

Billy Tully wrote: 12 Oct 2024, 16:37 Scariest KO I've ever seen.

He appears to have punched a hole in Clarke's head with the final punch. Genuinely horrifying.
It was a bad KO, but he was up more or less straight away.

The worst I've seen was perhaps Wilder-Liakhovich, that was horrible to see.

That’s why I was surprised that Clarke seemed to be looking to land something big early.

Looking at the way Beterbiev trains, and the specimen he is, I’m thinking that a meniscus tear for him may not be quite as serious as it could be for other fighters. The guy is an animal.

Liam Smith being uncharacteristically pragmatic about a man who beat him and a man who beat his brother. Fair play.

Buatsi hoping that Bert scores a career ending KO on Bivol, while fully ruining his knee at the same time.
