Wilder could never box, but he found the shot. Wardly is the same. he will always look very beatable, but he is always a chance at finding the shot.
Not saying wardly punches as hard as wilder. probably not even as good a boxer... but wilder made it to world champ for years and years. wardly probably wont make it there, but he will always be a punchers chance.

His attitude is what makes him special.handsofstone wrote: ↑12 Oct 2024, 16:52 What I love about Wardley is he throws hard shots, puts everything into his punches and that's why he gets KOs

wardley just had a draw against clarke last fight, getting a bit ahead of ourselves. sensational win but plenty of guys in with a good shot or better to beat him. and i say this having rated fabio and picked him to beat clarke both times

I dunno, I thought he was just moving his hand instinctively to where his face had been smashed in.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑12 Oct 2024, 16:52 Didn’t like the way Fraze raised his left hand when slumped on the ropes to guard himself from an imaginary punch several seconds after the action ended.
Reminded me of that heartbreaking footage maybe a year or so ago of the fighter who was throwing punches at an imaginary opponent while facing the wrong way

I’m with you. Darren barker said it in commentary where these well schooled amateurs come unstuck against fighters like Wardley because they throw unorthodox shots. In all honesty Clarke will be annoyed with himself for getting caught like thatmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑12 Oct 2024, 16:53 great ko but looked like the same swinging fabio to me, he can beat most guys but aside from the likes of usyk id still take the neater work of someone like agit over him

It was a bad KO, but he was up more or less straight away.Billy Tully wrote: ↑12 Oct 2024, 16:37 Scariest KO I've ever seen.
He appears to have punched a hole in Clarke's head with the final punch. Genuinely horrifying.
The worst I've seen was perhaps Wilder-Liakhovich, that was horrible to see.

That was scary as hell but not as bad as it looked
Frank confirmed it’s a broken cheekbone
poor big Fraze that was a stunner. Free shot in the end
His wife will want him retired after back to back trips to hell

Looking at the way Beterbiev trains, and the specimen he is, I’m thinking that a meniscus tear for him may not be quite as serious as it could be for other fighters. The guy is an animal.

They really need a floater fight on cards this big. fvck it they should grab a couple people out of the crowd and give em $100,000 to scrap

Liam Smith being uncharacteristically pragmatic about a man who beat him and a man who beat his brother. Fair play.

Buatsi hoping that Bert scores a career ending KO on Bivol, while fully ruining his knee at the same time.
