I can't see how anything other than an immediate rematch can be justified.

There is no need whatsoever for "a tune up fight"

"tune up" for what? The guy was apparently way below your level and you were going to clown him. Apparently you had some freak accident, but that doesn't change the fact that you're levels above this guy, right? So you're just going to go back in there and pick up where you left off, right...?

Swerving the immediate rematch (which they are 100% going to try and do) will do damage to Whittakers reputation, much like Clarke had his reputation badly damaged by the purse bids fiasco.

I hope the Saudis put unbearable pressure on them and force the immediate rematch
