thats the problem with losing when you only fight once per year, two years running. it takes up all that time and you dont even have a win to show for it.

meanwhile in just the last year dubs has beat aj, hrg, and miller.....

No change.

I agree with the judges, but still evidently the two best heavyweights in the world in there this weekend, with one being better than the other.

I can't see anyone else in the division as good as those two and so I wouldn't put anyone above either, regardless of whether I think Fury is a bit of an idiot. He is what he's always been.

—- I say bump Flubber down to 6th so he bumps AJ and everyone else up.

Guarantee AJ/Flubber still a blockbuster no matter the location, and AJ KNOCKS as in KTFO he and his jiggling daddy…yeah…

No change. No shame in losing to Usyk, and plenty of people are saying they thought Fury won, albeit not a majority.

Nobody else has done as well against Usyk, and you can’t criticise his level of opposition as he’s taken on the best in the division twice.

indeed. even without another lucky nose buster usyk had too much for fury, but nothing to be ashamed of there. fury is obviously top level and stays high for me. usyk just has that extra gear and ability to work out his opponents.

that said i see where people are coming from on the lack of wins for fury, the awful nganou split decision is the only win he got in the last 2 years, not a good look in the win column. you can only hold your place so long without winning,

Fury at this stage of his career would never fight a prime young contender like Dubois. It's one thing barely keeping off a near 38 year old Usyk, but he doesn't have the speed or strength to keep Dubois off him - framing/stiff arming isn't going to work. Plus, Dubois is on a tear as you say. Based on resume, Dubois should have already been #2 in 2024. Based on H2H he is also #2 right now. He will run through this shot version of Fury like Chisora threatened to do to Whyte.

Btw, @Ruthless-RKO, I've edited Fury to #5 as Joshua needs to be below him. But the others should be ahead of him. Better recent results and on H2H I would favour all of them to beat this ponderous version of Fury.

Usyk #champ
Fury to #3.

No shame on loosing to Usyk. DD has done enough with the AJ win to take the number 2 spot for now.

I’m just saying he’s got form for this. Last time we did boot him, we just had to vote him back in.

Let’s see what other publications do as well.

The fact that Joshua called him out and Hearn has been saying about the fight recently. And now he’s saying he’s retired.

It’s all convenient.

Wow people really hold onto the past in these votes.

2 losses, and a SD win against to a debuton, as his last 2 years.

I don’t hate, I just don’t agree but whatever, I like that everyone has there criteria. I’m just surprised cause for me I don’t quite understand where fury’s mystic came from.

He got a lot for upsetting a 39 year old kilt 10 years ago…

but weirdly I think where fury’s stock jumped the most was that wilder (who people didn’t rate) nearly beat him and they drew l, so then people rated wilder, and then fury beat wilder twice and people just continued to rate wilder…

it was like that draw dragged wilder up to fury’s level but not fury down at all… and then fury beat him so fury got elevated up way above him (but still somehow wilders rep stayed high cause at that point fury was oddly declared king…)

I don’t disagree that fury has been the 2nd best of the era behind usyk. It’s just the consistantly and certainty that surprises me… ( I don’t think you can definitively put him above AJ you can just vibe him above aj a bit)…

ya, it's funny how much fury and wilder fans became bros due to that fact

it reminds me a bit of anthony yarde and lyndon arthur. arthur was pretty much a nobody when he faced yarde. then he upsets yarde and gets rated in some top 10s for it. then yarde beats him in the rematch and now yarde has beaten a top 10 guy - who was only top ten (arguably) because he beat yarde first. a silly back and forth jerk

although tbf to fury, he also beat wlad and has some wins over other contenders, but his bois certainly went balls deep on the wilder fights

Yea it was a wild combo.

Fury beat vlad (and no one really questioned vlads age) so people said fury is great and better than vlad.

Then wilder drew with fury.. and people just credited that version of fury as as good as the version that beat vlad… (ignoring 3 years of drugs and alcohol and then a fat camp)…

Then people thought well if fury beat vlad (who they ignored vlads age) and only drew with wilder (they ignored fury’s prep), then wilder is as good as fury and better than vlad… (no one actually said any of this it’s just how I feel peoples brains must of got to the circle jerk conclusion)…

Then fury beat wilder… (who is now somehow better than vlad) then fury beat wilder again OMG..

Not so much hating fury for his character or talent… but his path to being nearly a consensus number 1 pre usyk was pretty crazy. Nearly as crazy as how little stick he got when he got banned for 2 years, or said his entire purse would go to charity then… great charisma huge problem for anyone in the boxing ring . But his public image being what it is is a miracle.

You know it might have helped if you actually voted if you feel that way. Lol

You basically had the tie breaking vote.

It was 8 votes for no change, And 8 votes for him to drop in the rankings...
