Catley announces comeback fight
Former WBC super-middleweight champion Glenn Catley is to return to the ring after three years out.
The 34-year-old Bristol fighter will make his comeback at Ashton Gate on 3 November against an as yet unnamed opponent.
Catley, a fomer British middleweight champion, won the WBC title against German Markus Beyer in 2000.
Having lost it in his first defence, he quit after defeat by Danilo Haussler in February 2003.
"I'm fit, I'm confident and I'll be ready to go," he said. "If anyone doubted I was serious about fighting again, they now know otherwise."

I wish him the best, think he could make things interesting.
Catley's return confirmed..... with date.

Glen was a good commentator in a few BBC shows.livingstone cole wrote:Has Robin Reid not retired?
I do feel Catley is coming back for the money, I doubt he has a whole lot. He was working nights as as security guard close to his WBC title fight with Woodhall I believe.
Glen always seemed like a top bloke, I think he'd make a good commentator. I'm not basing that on much but could he be worse than Duke?
Robin Reid has recently called out Carl Froch, for whats that worth.
