All amateur clubs have safeguarding officers. Solomon is on the England boxing radar, surely if this is going on it must be raised.

also this part is relevant
They live with Stanley in an eight-bedroom mansion in Essex, which they bought in 2020 for £1.5 million. Stanley’s white and burgundy Rolls-Royce sits on the driveway, dwarfing Daniel’s Porsche 911. The home has a fully equipped gym and there is a large swimming pool in the back garden.
maybe dan's running the books and just gifted it for dad, but i dunno..

To give context I work as a refugee support worker and actively person for people with learning difficulties. I know about having no money each month and being happy , try minimum wage each month for years.Frostieballs wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025, 13:58And why is money the measure of success?paultom wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025, 13:33No amount of money can make up for that kind of upbringing, is DD a millionaire or is the dad ?, plus all that home schooling and obvious lack of socialisation during his childhood has clearly harmed him. He's 27, can barely string a sentence together.Old bones Ian wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025, 12:06 I mean it sounds awful and mad being brought up like that , but DD is a multi millionaire so his dad has a point.
My prediction is DD wins some, losses some over next few years until earning potential is gone, money will go spent by Dad and when his dad passes DD will be lost and skint
Maybe he would be happier working in an animal sanctuary and having just enough money for his rent and living costs.
Peace of mind > Money
But sometimes I'd love money , and it wouldn't measure any success but it would make life easier.
My point being money is their measurement so his Dad has proven a point , be it mental or not.
Re: Feel sorry for DD
I doubt he's got mansion money and a rolls royce from selling posters ,, Still Daniel is an adult now , , Ok not a very smart one , definetly a very immature one , but an adult non the less , .Coco wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025, 13:50Doesn't mean the dad is nicking the money eithermargaret thatcher wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025, 13:40 wow things are even more f@cked up with the dubois family than i thought, daniel really is a stuned man child robot at his father's command. theres no way he's controlling his own money either
The time to say anything about it was years ago when he was a kid , social services should of stepped in and took over , thats what there , their for . Then that upbringing was definetly child abuse , being made to do 2-3 hrs pushups while reciting the bible , crazy stuff

And how many posters do you have to sell to get a new Rolls Royce?
How many buyers are there for Daniel Dubios posters anyway?
Is he that popular?
A mid range Roller is £290,000 without any options. After printing and packaging the profit can't be more than £10 a poster eh.

There's a long interview with Stan from Seconds Out last year. He's a very outgoing, bubbly man. "They grew up outside the system, I am their system".
Re: Feel sorry for DD
Do you believe he made enough to buy a mansion and a roller from it ?mickey1975 wrote: ↑24 Jul 2025, 03:38They weren't DDD posters. He went to America selling them on the street.KiwiRider wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025, 21:54It's disturbing alright.coneye wrote: ↑23 Jul 2025, 20:18

When Whyte got clobbered by Fury, he got up and wanted to continue, when Fury took one of the heaviest knockdowns ever v Wilder he got up, Wilder wanted to carry on in the second and third too, and fought on, Fury was out on his feet and carried on in Uysk 2.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑22 Jul 2025, 17:31I dunno that' was a very heavy knockdown, gum shield still going though the air.
DDD would have needed a miracle to win, no one would have complained if the ref stopped it, the towel coming in was a good call.
But dubois sat the count out, got up at 10, and walked back to his corner.
He wasn't KO'd by the jab in the first fight either.
The guy is more BJS, not Whyte, Wilder or Fury.
Look at AJs stoppage losses too

The mother was around, coming and going. Stan had a wife and kids at 16 where the mother was boss. He vowed never to let that happen again.

I give DD a pass for the Joyce fight, I know he wouldn’t have known his orbital bone was fractured but I’m guessing he was in a lot of pain and knew something wasn’t right. But the two Usyk losses he seemed to decide to sit it out rather than being unable to stand up. I think this maybe highlights when the going gets tough he will look for a way out.

Re: Feel sorry for DD
Speaking to talkSPORT, Bellew said the real Dubois ‘doesn’t want to fight’.
“The question needs to be asked, who are you boxing for, why are you doing this? Is it to impress someone? Is it to get on their good side? He ain’t fighting for money. He was financially secure a long time ago. When he gets into these really hard moments in a fight, that’s when the real Daniel comes out. The real Daniel doesn’t want to fight.
I’m sorry to say that. It sounds bad and really harsh, but that’s just the truth.
I’m a massive fan of him and his sister. But when you’ve had three separate occasions when you’ve had moments of recollection and sit there and go, ‘I’m hurt, I’m down, I’ve had enough’.
He gets hit harder in the AJ fight, he goes in for the finish, AJ hits him with a shot that rocks him to his boots, but cause he was on top in that fight and his confidence is high, he rolls the dice and he throws back and AJ and he knocks him out.
On Saturday night, he had zero success. In my opinion, this is the attitude and mentality of a guy that when the going gets tough, he doesn’t want to fight, and you can never change that.”

I love how they twist things when it suits them. The difference with Bellew is he tried to get up but was clearly out of it. He even admits near end of that interview that mentally DD lacks resilience which is the point Bellew was making.
