Fabio Wardley. Winner take on Usyk.
No more cherry picking
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Franklin makes perfect sense.
Most names I’m seeing are either too dangerous or past it & won’t give him the rounds he needs.

I'd be happy with any of the names on that list but I'd like to see him out again twice more this year if his fights only go one or two rounds.
Start of October then the obligatory Christmas Card in Saudi.

I'd like to see him fight Bakole, just so we can hear Martin the world he destroyed Moses in sparring. ![[icon_e_confused.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
What about Joe Joyce?
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
It won't be anyone who is likely to be in the mix for vacant titles I don't think, too risky, needs to be someone who has no other options really, Ruiz, Hughie, ?
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Hrgovic or Dubois
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
A Bonecrusher Barrett type if they exist, take him 10 rounds and see what happens
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Surprised so many are going with Wardley seeing that its probably the most unlikely.
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
It will be Deontay Wilder 100%.
Turki loves him, he's shot to bits and still a name with a punch

I was calling for Chisora to retire long ago but why not feed him to Mo? he's a businessman and will do it for the right amount, plus he's pretty hard to knock out.

Zhang for me.
ZZ is a big name; he has no stamina, but he can punch holes in walls.
We might get to see Itauma chin checked, whether he can take a punch, or get off the floor to win.

Hrgovic would be a good choice, although I think Itauma wins comfortably.
Dubois is an odd one; definitely a good opponent, but I don't think team Dubois would risk it right now.
If he loses to Itauma and badly too, his elite career will probably be already over, which would be nuts because he's not even 28; the problem being the next gen guys are younger, Itauma himself and Richard Torrez Jr too.

Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Bakole, if he can get himself into shape. Hrgovic, but that cut could take a while to heal.
I think Parker might be a bit too seasoned at this stage. Definitely a good fight at some point.
Moses looks superb. I hope he doesn't box Uysk for two reasons:
1. He might get a loss he doesn't need to have; and
2. If he did win, it could catapult him into super stardom at a very young age and heap tremendous external pressure on him, before he has had time to become old enough to deal with that level of attention.
That said, it looks like he has an old head on young shoulders. Very impressive.
He seems to have a similar body type as Golovkin. Not necessarily the biggest in their weight division, but they have been put together in a way that means they are extremely heavy handed and solid. He will take some beating and looks nailed on to become a Heavyweight Champion of the World. Will be fun to watch the ride.
Moses vs Wardley could be a very entertaining fight.

Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Bakole for me
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
I'd like someone more durable.
If he takes Bakole out early, yes it will be impressive but nothing Parker hasn't done, and Parker isn't a banger
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Wardley for me, has a chin and threatening power, but should get comprehensively outboxed, but if Itauma does a 1-3 round KO then I think he could legitimately by pass Kaybel and Parker and go for Usyk after.
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
X2
The myth about Bakole has well and truly been busted.
He does have quick hands for a telly tubby, but they are mostly arm punches.

I went for Wardley as it’s a a guaranteed action fight. But any of the listed fighters I’d be happy with. They all have something to bring. Maybe except Chisora

As boring as Hughie is. He has a decent chin and some skill.
Hughie should take him deeper than any other logical choice.
