Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Sick of hearing he.s the new star . He.s gods right hand man . He.s this he.s that . Time has come to give him a decent opponent . Forget the Whyte victory only man who called it right was Chisora when he said somone should be jailed ...Lets not pretend London is Mars Londons small enough that everyone in boxing would of known Excatly what Dillan was gonna bring NOTHING . So if your gonna sing his praises from yhe rooftops . If your gonna put him main event on PPV stuff the he.s young he.s got to.be nourished this onesvtoo soon ect ect .. shove him.in with hirovig WHY he.s too fast forbyhat plodder . He hits too hard for him its gonna be another blow out maybee 3 or 4 rnds but blowout just the same . Lets have it right Adelya caught Hirovig with big sliw left hooks and rocked him . SO shove him in with some real competition let him go play with Kayabel after all.he deserved his chance just has much give Ruiz plenty of notice as nd some big money to encourage him . Give Dubois a call theres competition out there so stop feeding him cannon fodder lets see what he.s really got or shut the foook up about him he.s either a real champ waiting in the aisles or he.s a prospect . If jts champ i the aisles let him go charge Ppv if he.s a prospect who needs aging cannon fodder DONT BE CHARGING PPV and more importantly risking the health of guys years past retirement date ala Whyte

Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
he needs to fight someone who is pretty durable and not at a stage in their career where you get a good sense they are gonna crumble
i rate moses but i dont think he's so good that he's just gonna ko everyone decent in 1-2 rounds, his run has been matched perfectly to make him look great but he's going to need to put aside these flattering opponents to get some rounds in eventually
most guys on this list i would be satisfied with, although zhang and chisora being like 42-43 are in that group where i feel like with every new fight they could crumble, even with being okay in their last one. i'd prefer someone younger with a good durability history.

I'm cool with anyone on that list except Bakole,Chisora and Zhang.
Chisora would want too much money, Zhang is too old and plodding, and Bakole wouldn't last a round.

I think it would be a huge fight for the UK if it happened, sell out Wembley no problem

Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Why do you single Bakole out as someone who wont make it a round? sure he has been stopped twice, but I don't see them as proof of chinnyness...
-He got stopped in the 10th vs hunter taking a million unanswered shots but wasn't dropped...
-he got stopped vs Parker when unfit and on about 11 seconds notice, getting clipped by a freak brain scrambler (haymaker top of head skim combo), and he made the count its just billy stopped it cause they had another fight lined up already...
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
It's not pointless though. Wilder is a Former World Champion. Many guys have the obligatory "Former World Champion who isn't what the once was" on their record. It's just kinda part of the game.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑17 Aug 2025, 20:14Completely pointless, he will have him folded like a deckchair in the first round, Wilder is shot to bits.
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
It is pointless no one except promoters get anything out of it Moses gets a training camp and another 1st rnd ko . Wilder risks getting seriously hurt and earming a few dollars he dont need . The public get charged ppv . no one winsgilgamesh wrote: ↑18 Aug 2025, 00:10It's not pointless though. Wilder is a Former World Champion. That's Moses favorite type of finisher shot.gregregegg wrote: ↑18 Aug 2025, 00:02Why do you single Bakole out as someone who wont make it a round? sure he has been stopped twice, but I don't see them as proof of chinnyness...

Bakole would have crumbled under the first round onslaught Whyte got. He got stopped by Parker, 'nuff said.
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
I get the feeling that Itauma won't impress anybody unless he defeats the Frankenstein Monster. He's got less than 15 fights. Anybody with a name that he fights right now is fair game as far as I'm concerned. If he racks up 3 or 4 more wins, and keeps looking impressive, he should be about 18 months better and Usyk would be a year older.coneye wrote: ↑18 Aug 2025, 00:25It is pointless no one except promoters get anything out of it Moses gets a training camp and another 1st rnd ko . Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Joe Joyce is a good suggestion. Never thought of him.
That being said, the heavyweight division seems to be enjoying a revival of the classic 6'3'' boxer-puncher, with Usyk and Kabayel using old-fashioned skills to slay the giants. Maybe some fiddly stylists would be better preparation for him than a parade of hulking powerhouses who fall apart at top level anyway. Dunno.

Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
I think they're both being built alongside each other and guided towards separate world titles. If they meet, it will be a unification so long as they don't both get beat in the mean time.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑17 Aug 2025, 20:20I think it would be a huge fight for the UK if it happened, sell out Wembley no problem
I wish people would stop talking about Wembley! It's a shite venue for boxing in a crap part of town that's horrible to get to and where leaving is some kind of desperate escape. Please can't we have Moses at the good old 02 for a few fights? It's easy for Moses' Kentish fans as it's the Jubilee and high speed and we're all home within an hour.
It shouldn't be Wilder, Chisora or Joyce. All yesterday's men and all would suffer horrible unnecessary beatings. Wilder and Chisora are both pricks who don't deserve the payday they'd demand and Joyce is a lovely bloke who should just enjoy the money he's made already.
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Wardley would be my choice, don't put him in with Zhang, he could end up like Joyce. Someone like Parker or Bakole if not Wardley.

I'm bored of Chisora's neverending retirement tour, maybe Moses could put such a beating on him that he'd be deterred from drifting inexorably down the Danny Williams route.

they already offered chisora the fight before whyte took it.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑18 Aug 2025, 08:40 I'm bored of Chisora's neverending retirement tour, maybe Moses could put such a beating on him that he'd be deterred from drifting inexorably down the Danny Williams route.
Chisora ducked it.
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Your probably right , BUT its brought on by his promoters , understand there building him up , we understand get guys who he would of beat when he was ameteur , we understand you bring in the old faded past it journeyman type weve seen it a thousand times before , his promoter is the master of it ,, But for god sake do it slowly , don't shout from the rooftops how he's the coming of Jesus Christ himself , then feed him old men and put it on PPV . There talking Usyk and Parker WHY ,,, up till now he's not fought anyone who can hit him back , so course he's going to look a million dollars , so either put him in with one of them , or at least let it be known he's available or shut up and take him off ppv .gilgamesh wrote: ↑18 Aug 2025, 00:49I get the feeling that Itauma won't impress anybody unless he defeats the Frankenstein Monster. Next they will say he's not ready for them , and no one else , meaning Joyce , Chisora , Hirovig , will fight him without unreasonable demands and it will be there own fault . I know if i was managing any of these guys , i'd be shouting from the top of my voice , Pick me, Pick me ,, and when were picked i'd be saying well listen Frank your guys so good its on PPV could be the end of my guys carreer SO we want absolute life changing money , or go down the pub pick another one and see how many ppv's it gets .
Regards he's only had 15 fights , he's been boxing since he was 7 , he's a mature lad , been sparring pro's since he was what 15 , kid can fight , he was always too good for a lot of who they got him its no one elses fault they did'nt match him to learn they matched him to get the record he has , ,
Can he do it , i'm sure he can he does look good , BUT i don't think he's learning , watched him hit pads a couple times see a very basic and not too good mistake he carries into his fights , but its gonna take a confident puncher to take advantage , not saying it gonna cost him YET , but what i am saying is by now supertrainer should off picked it up and sorted it out , bet your life Andy Lee and Usyk have spotted it
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Chisoras , not stupid , OR SCARED , when they can't find , Joyce , or Hirovig easy fights for him , Chisora will probably take it for a few more numbers on the front of 7 zeros , Chisora knows how to play the game . and when they can't get Wardley , Joyce , Hirovic , , Hughie Fury ,, and yjey don't want Dubois , Kayabel , Parker , Usyk .Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑18 Aug 2025, 08:55they already offered chisora the fight before whyte took it.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑18 Aug 2025, 08:40 I'm bored of Chisora's neverending retirement tour, maybe Moses could put such a beating on him that he'd be deterred from drifting inexorably down the Danny Williams route.

Then Chisora will be the man to save the day , but it will cost them
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
He hasn't fought a gatekeeper yet, a couple of fights there, continued learning, and if he passes those, you can put him in against Parker.
If you sling him in against Uysk now, or even Parker, if it goes bad, it could ruin him.

Agreed , and he does'nt need the pressure at this stage , which is manipulated , . but for me , there pushing him into a situation , where he has to take a shit, or get off the pot.
Re: Who would you like Moses Itauma to fight next?
Say he did fight Bakole and got 8 rounds or more, it would be great learning, but if it went that long against Bakole it would suggest he isn't the next big thing.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑18 Aug 2025, 09:29can't argue with that.
If he smashed up Ruiz or Hrgvic over 8, again it would be great learning, but he it might also suggest he could really go to the top.
