Great shout out. Good chin. And he has skill.
This should not be a first round blow out and if it is. Well I'll join the bandwagon :TU:

Obviously nobody is looking to get him beat, but he needs to swim in deeper waters, those fights are there for him, and I'm sure FW knows that, I think Fwank knows exactly what he is doing

I had 'The Guido' in a draw against Ajagba who is legit top ten.
Definitely a live opponent.

Completely pointless, he will have him folded like a deckchair in the first round, Wilder is shot to bits.
It's not pointless though. Wilder is a Former World Champion. Many guys have the obligatory "Former World Champion who isn't what the once was" on their record. It's just kinda part of the game.
It is pointless no one except promoters get anything out of it Moses gets a training camp and another 1st rnd ko . Wilder risks getting seriously hurt and earming a few dollars he dont need . The public get charged ppv . no one wins
Exactly, he needs rounds in a tough but winnable fight, no point in him blasting out people in a round or two and then throwing him in with Usyk in a few fights time.

Most names I’m seeing are either too dangerous or past it & won’t give him the rounds he needs.
His claim to fame is going the distance with two shot to pieces fighters. I doubt he'd go more than two.

Chisora ducked it.
Chisoras , not stupid , OR SCARED , when they can't find , Joyce , or Hirovig easy fights for him , Chisora will probably take it for a few more numbers on the front of 7 zeros , Chisora knows how to play the game . and when they can't get Wardley , Joyce , Hirovic , , Hughie Fury ,, and yjey don't want Dubois , Kayabel , Parker , Usyk .

Then Chisora will be the man to save the day , but it will cost them
Chisora can piss off. He’s already openly ducked Moses and the way he disrespected Parker, a bloke who has two wins over him already, in that interview the other night, was rough to see.

Chisora’s eyes move independently of each other, like a chameleon. He’s taken a lot of damage. He obviously lives to fight, so I’m not going to tell him to stop, but he shouldn’t be in the conversation for Parker let alone Moses.

I'd like someone more durable.

If he takes Bakole out early, yes it will be impressive but nothing Parker hasn't done, and Parker isn't a banger
can't argue with that.
Say he did fight Bakole and got 8 rounds or more, it would be great learning, but if it went that long against Bakole it would suggest he isn't the next big thing.
If he smashed up Ruiz or Hrgvic over 8, again it would be great learning, but he it might also suggest he could really go to the top.
I don’t fault your argument or your point, this is why i like the forum, always learning from others mate. Interesting to see his next fight.

Can we just leave Andy Ruiz out of this conversation? :maybe:
He hasn't been in shape since forever, and hasn't fought in a year, and it's been 6 years since he knocked AJ out.
He's not just heavy these days, he's old too.

Suppose it all depends on what Frank has mapped out for him , does he want to build his KO resume , then theres plenty to choose from , just a matter of coming up with enough ppv buys to pay the dollars the opponents will want , especielly if King Tut TUT does'nt want to pay ,

I agree with Fury Moses will stop all the olderish guys around , probably hurt one or two such has Joyce , so keep him away

So look who could give him rounds maybee not beat him but rnds to see how he goes , , , then its a smaller list , Hughie Fury maybee , he can move a bit his chin is'nt soft , theres Hirovic , err maybee i see him getting put to sleep early doors but maybee not , dunno i'm just not impressed with him dispite hitting Adelya at will when it come back at him he was'nt so great ,

Or will Frank look at it and say , Moses is perhaps top 4 at the moment , let him off the leash , and match him with Parker , Kayabel , or even Usyk , I know people are saying its too early for Parker , so you would have to perhaps say the same about too early for Kayabel, BUT IS IT , he beats just about all the others , which puts him probably in the top 4 . so let him go .

Thing is all the talk is about his age , but you have to remember age is a number , this MAN notice i say Man not boy , not teenager , but MAN , may only be 20-21 ish but he's reached maturity physicly and mentally at a young age , he's had plenty of top ameteur experience , he's been sparring grown men profesionals since he was 15 or so , so compare him to say Dubois , now here is a guy who's what 28 , so 7-8 years older , he's matured physiclly but still a boy mentaly and its showing when things don't go his way he quits , when his father says go to the corner and say your prayers off he goes , that guy is no more ready than Moses ... Take Hughie Fury , boxing all his life , just like moses , quite talented , but according to his dad , he needed to develop man streghth at 21 , i suggest he had the man strenght then but not the mental strenght his dad was in charge .

Moses is now stronger than both them two at the same age both physicly and above all mentaly , whats more he's stronger now , so for me its a case of

Take the leash of go for the big prize , don't get it grab it the year after , Kids a PPV star and he's gonna get bigger , regards the others , well maybee Kayabel and Parker should relize there being froze out and start challenging him and get him now before he gets better .

But it will all depend on Frank and what way he wants to go , or will Frank let king Tut tut and his mighty dollars dictate moses future

And that suggestion would of course be wrong, because Joshua did a demolition job on Kevin Johnson, who later went the distance with Dubois in a dull, workmanlike performance, but when Joshua fought Dubois he himself got demolished.

There's any number of men who could take Holyfield 12 then get blitzed in 1 by Tyson, but Holyfield would still grind down Tyson.

I think Ruiz should be off the list - to be honest, what has he been up to really since that terrible showing against Joshua.

Dodgy draw against Miller, Down against Chris Arreola, and had struggles against Ortiz.

In other words he has name recognition, is an ex world champ and is ripe for the taking?

That's why he'd be such an inspired choice for Moses. For one he's still way more competent than anyone Moses has fought. Plus he takes some budging, has that big left hook in his arsenal. Casuals know him from the Joshua fights and the hype will go into overdrive if he takes out an ex world champ who essentially ruined Joshua. I think AJ's head is still scrambled from that first fight.

He has a very good chin though. So if he was up for it, I reckon he would be a good option. But I assume he is basically retired/would want a lot of cash. I agree he's very unlikely.

Was aj shot to bits when he fought Franklin?

He had just had a respectable showing vs near prime usyk… (I had him losing 10-2, the split decision was a joke but I could see 8-4 being possible)…

He since then went on to demolish Otto who gave fury a tough night, and demolish nganu who arguably should have beat fury…

Going 12 with 2023 AJ is still one hell of an achievement, especialy in the context of finding an opponent for rounds for 20 year old prospect.

Is it what it used to be though (his chin) - and this is against three slow opponents (Ortiz at about 52 is not as quick as he was).

He's getting tagged and often, his chin isn't what it was and he is super inconsistent.

I would see "at best" for Ruiz being a one sided beat down with a compassionate on his feet stoppage around the mid point - with still lots of questions.

But him in with someone with ambition, on a good run and dangerous - Wardley for me. I think he is ready for that.

I think if he fights a Ruiz or a Franklin - we might still be saying "oh he's not ready for Parker / Kaybel - let alone Usyk". Wardley though has ambition, isn't going to be just a punch bag (although he might end up being one) and has chin testing power if he connects. I rate Hirgovic, but I can still see enough flaws (lack of power, cuts, questionable stamina and maybe chin at higher level) that means if if its a dominant performance there will still be those concerned about leading him off the leash.

For me, he might not be quite ready for Kaybel or Parker (but I actually think he beats them) but he is ready for the very next best test and I think thats, on current form, Wardley. Beats Warldey, put him in with Usyk.

Fishing on the fringes until Usyk retires and the other top guys have blown chunks out of each other, facing more faded names until a b-tier risk represents the best ROI. We've been fans long enough to know how this works mate.

Unless Itauma's so hungry to prove himself he threatens to walk, or Turki whips out his ill-gottens.

FW has happy to match JC and Hamed against anyone, not the same for Hatton.
If he has enough confidence in you, you will be let off the leash.
Nevertheless he does have a history of safety first, getting you experience and exposure, and maximising profit.
He had plenty of confidence in DDD too.

Hatton was such a ticket seller and made a lot of live money for FW so not surprising he protected him. Letting ‘Irish Ricky Hatton’ go to welter to fight in the USA against a very tricky and dangerous Colazzo in the US was a big risk I thought

After Woodhall I seem to recall him facing pretty mediocre opposition until Lacy many years later.

It was more JC than FW who was cautious.
He happily matched him against Eubank for the vacant, originally matched him v Collins, chased the Hopkins fight too, although it was Hopkins that ran from that!
