He was overrated. What else do you want me to say?
I want you to say which elite boxer James Toney beat at 168? Please don't say Iran Barkley, because when you do, it makes you sound as thick as mince.
And why Iran Barkley wasn't elite? He was the champion when James Toney beat him, right?
Because Nigel Benn beat him in one round. Elite fighters don't do that. I don't think there is anyway on this earth that you would claim Iran Barkley was an elite fighter if it didn't support your argument.

Barkley wasn't elite or great but great/elite fighters have been taken out in one round. For example, Bob Montgomery against Bummy Davis.

Well, the great Emile Griffith was knocked out in one round by Rubin "Hurricane" Carter. Carter knocked him out on his prime. I guess elite fighters don't get knocked out according to your logic.

Michael Spinks was knocked out in the first round by Mike Tyson, too. So what's the point?

My point is, Iran Barkley ain't an elite fighter at 168. His only good win was Darrin Van Horn. Please explain how that makes him an elite fighter at 168?

Who were the best fighters at 168 at the time? Because by that time, Iran "The Blade" Barkley was a triple crown world champion. If that is not elite, what is it?

I'm not disrespecting your mother, I'm simply asking if she taught you never to an answer a question with a question?
