A refreshingly honest post fight interview from TKV

Decent fight. Hard to see where big Fraze goes now.

I think a pre Wardley Clarke would have won easily enough

That was my point but imo he didn’t go too far

Proper chips and gravy scrap and neither going any higher than British level, which is a genuine achievement for most but a letdown for Big Fraze. He's got the personality to be a star but not the skills or stamina to back it up unfortunately.

The only chance he's got is if Terry O'Connor takes out a promoter's licence.

Yeah, hard to accept that Frazer isn't even going to be British champ.
When he turned pro I thought he would make it to world contender level.

Disgraceful stamina on show by Clarke. It's bad to come into a contest in that shape.

Scrappy fight that was entertaining enough between two limited fighters.

Frazer Clarke was terrible. Barely using the jab and completely lacking any spark for more than a few seconds at a time.

Big Joe joyce caught tons of flack for his cumbersome style, but Clarke often looks like he's moving in treacle and in terms of achievement/success there's no comparison.

At no stage of his career would Clarke ever have been able to compete with, for example, Daniel Dubois. Let alone bludgeoning DDD to defeat in a British, Commonwealth & European title showdown.

Don't forget Frazer had to stay amateur for three cycles to get his Olympic place. If he was that good he'd have gone ahead of AJ and Joyce.

Exactly, he wasn't anywhere near as good as either Joyce or AJ.

Coco's right. Post-Wardley it's all over for Clarke. Losing to TKV is catastrophic for his career.

We had no amazing heavyweights in the amateur system or the one standout who overachieved (Audley). We had three at the same time: I would love to know how any rounds they sparred each other. Especially Joyce who was a renowned hard sparrer. Probably all damaged each other with hard sparring. Joyce especially looked a million dollars in the amateurs. Joyce and Clarke deterioted real quick and that temple shot AJ took from Ruiz changed the trajectory of his career. Iron sharpens iron but I think they took years off each others pro career

Completely agree with this. At least Joyce has probably earned some good money. I’m not sure Clarke will have. Certainly not life altering money anyway.

You are on over a grand a week with the ams in the elite set up, like 70k a year
He probably got a big signing on fee too.
If he has been sensible with his money he should be ok

I'd take Clarke or TKV over Richard Torrez.
