Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know of a new book that I have come across while researching for my own book on Ghanaian fighters of the 1950s and 1960s.
It's called El Rey Efimero, by Spanish writer Jose Miguel Gala, and is about the boxing life of Bob Allotey (https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/16398), focusing particularly on Bob's time in Spain. It's a slim volume (70 pages), but excellent quality and full of great stories. Please note it is written in Spanish, so I have posted about it in the Boxeo Mundial forum as well, but I thought it may be of wider interest to other boxing fans, hence this post. For more details about the book, please see https://www.espabox.com/bob-allotey-el-rey-efimero/.
If you wish to purchase a copy, please email Jose Miguel Gala at [email protected] and he will explain things from there!

I wish I read Spanish; I'd love to read this book as boxing in Spain is a passion for me.
