I actually started skipping over the last year.
Bloody sweat after 5 mins.
Then started slowing down. Done for a minute. Then stretch, then skip then stretch.
Years of training on and off never improved me beyond "pretty shit". I did finally enter and win a white collar fight, having realised I would soon be too old for that too. Definitely helped having a crap opponent six inches shorter than me with a belly!

I did Spud I was absolute rubbish I didn’t like getting hit and I had zero coordination. Combine it with a lack of heart and I was the complete package.

My lack of boxing skills were the reason when I did door work I was the worlds politest doorman. The few times someone insisted they wanted to fight me I’d arrange to meet them at 4am.

I could actually work the speedball after a while, struggled more with that ball in the middle of two elasticated wires, but what was really my problem was getting punched in the face. It's most unpleasant.

Yes. 7 x 3 min rounds with 30 sec breaks. Turning 50 this year
