Actually seeing the replay...

Think the ref shoulda been quicker - Egg just went. KO'd standing up.

Not in a position to defend himself. Correct stoppage.
Mean the previous round ended early

The damage Egginton has received over the years is insane.

Should be sitting in an armchair with pipe and slippers.

Utterly brutal fight, Walker is hardly elusive too and will get found out.
Great,entertaining brawl.

Fawaz and Kelly served up a decent scrap, Kelly a tough SOB but also had plenty success, he throws a mean body shot, didn't land nearly enough though, was catching Fawaz with the right hand up top as well, Fawaz didn't ride them all and his constant posing suggests he's dominating rounds more than he is, sure the times he was opening Kelly up were big rounds and several times the ref was hovering while Kelly was on the ropes, lightening quick hands Fawaz, he's a bit slappy but is effective, the moment he hurt Kelly in the 4th and let him off the hook I was team Kelly, hate seeing that, some terrific exchanges in the fight all the same, I know Kelly was hurting but still surprised to see him pulled after the 9th

Talk about smash and grab, that was something else from Walker, technically he was terrible, I had Eggington taking the first 5 rounds, he's always been good in the pocket for someone with his gangly stature, Walker just came forward, head on Eggington's chest, no heSd movement at all and Eggington was able to drill uppercuts through the middle, at mid range he was able to ping Walker with rights and club hooks around the side, Walker had no answer, he looked as basic at it gets, round 8 he found the breakthrough, creased Eggington with a body shot then proceeded to pummel him for about a minute solid before a right to the stomach put Eggington down, I thought Eggington recovered well and won the 9th but next round Walker finished him in style, rocked him with a right then another dipped the legs, the next one finished him but he took another huge one before the ref got in,

Cracker of a battle but Walker got out of jail

Fair play Conah, you proved me wrong.

Which, I'm sure, is probably what's most important to you.

I don't know if I'd say found out. It's certainly no mystery at all that he's going to get hit. It's just a matter of who's gonna crack that chin. Because eventually it'll happen. Punchers come heavier than Eggington.

It was a great fight and Walker soaked it all up before finding the gaps and finishing it.

But I felt a bit uncomfortable watching Eggington. He's taken so much punishment and it will likely affect him badly later in life. I hope he retires but I can understand if he carries on because he is probably the most fan friendly fighter in British boxing.

Walker's on a serious roll since the points loss to Crocker.

Excellent battle between 2 reliable crowd pleasers :TU:

Onwards & upwards for Walker.

I admit I was secretly rooting for Eggington to prevail, but I have nothing but huge props to Walker. Great respect to two tough fighters.

I believe Walker can make some serious noise at either WW and SWW. Or both. How about him and Josh Kelly for the IBF belt?

Not sure where Eggington goes from here. He proved he can still fight at a high level but there is an awful lot of wear and tear on him.

Indeed. Looks like he had a lovely day today with Jon Pegg and Barry Hearn. What a career he has had. Jon must be so proud of him. I think if we had more Jon Peggs in the sport it would be a much brighter place.

Definitely a throwback fighter that many of today's boxers could learn a lesson or two from. He had a stellar career and deserves a peaceful and prosperous retirement.
