It was said that British middleweight champs (brothers) Pat and Les McAteer were uncles of footballer Jason McAteer of Liverpool and Ireland fame.

when he was growing up, Muhammad Ali had a cousin who was a boxer but who "wasn't too successful"
(makes you wonder, had they been an amateur or pro ?)
