He chose to fight at 160 in the previous fights because he was comfortable at the weight. He hadn't fought at 168 since James DeGale, which was SIX years earlier. He was comfortable at the weight, that's why he fought Liam Smith twice at 160 and Liam Williams at 160 and Kamil Szeremeta at 160. He didn't have to fight at 160 for any of those fights, but he did, because he wanted to, because he was comfortable at the weight. But it doesn't matter what I post, you'll just keep arguing that a guy's natural weight is the one he hadn't fought at for six years. Stop being silly.

What I am saying is that you are talking a load of old rubbish by saying Eubank Jr was a Super-Middleweight early on in his career.

Anyone with a brain or ounce of boxing knowledge knows he wasn't & you're making yourself look a bit of a tit by sticking to this claim..

So here in Southern California there's various shades of 'Mexican'.

You have people who are born & raised here who you would think had just crossed the border recently but they actually only have one Mexican parent.

Then there are others that you would never guess were any part Mexican but both their parents are immigrants & speak broken English.

I work with the full spectrum.

As far as I know Garcias dad is of Mexican heritage & his mum is white. But lately he's been on a Mexican trip, even placing bets with FW over the England v Mexico game. I doubt he's watched more than 2 games of football but now he's tossing 6 figures on a game.

Anyway, they are known as "No Sabo" Mexicans. Garcia is a No Sabo as he doesn't speak Spanish. Spanish speakers look down on them.

Many SoCal Mexican Americans will be supporting Benn as he's fluent. Which I find hilarious.

Conor Benn on Ryan Garcia: 'I wanted to punch his head in for sure'

The war of words between Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn, which already feels like it’s been going on for years, is only likely to get louder now the pair have at last agreed to sort it all out in the ring on September 12.

The 27-year-old Garcia, 25-2 (20 KOs), is set to put his WBC welterweight title on the line against the 25-1 (14 KOs) Benn, 27, who is the mandatory challenger at 147lbs despite not fighting in the weight class since April 2022.

Last year, Benn went 1-1 with British rival Chris Eubank Jnr up at middleweight before beating Regis Prograis over the 10-round distance in April to mark the start of his alliance with Zuffa Boxing.

Garcia, meanwhile, beat Mario Barrios in February to win his world belt. It came three years after an unsuccessful bid for the WBA lightweight belt when he was knocked out in seven rounds by Gervonta Davis.

At the weekend Garcia and Benn came together in a fiery press conference in which both shouted and peacocked to such a degree they had to be separated.

"I wanted to punch his head in for sure," said Benn when reflecting on the machismo-fuelled exchange.

"I would have had there and then with him. I'm not worried about nothing with Ryan.

"I ain't scared about nothing. What's there to be scared about?"

"He's a spoiled brat and he carries on like a little child, throwing his toys out of the pram, having social media tantrums. You think I'm worried about him?

"I've just gone up to middleweight and had fight of the year [while losing to Eubank last April]. You think I'm worried about Ryan, a lightweight? Not at all."
