Jai v Monster next May?
Who knows.

Shades of Kovalev v Stevenson, two dominant guys who walked through everyone else for a while but whom boxing politics kept apart
Well they are face to face in the ring now so hopefully Ziffa can put the money up & we see the fight sooner rather than later.

He should be a massive star in the sport, but it doesn't seem like he gets the exposure he deserves.
He's having the snowball effect, every time he fights his fan base gets bigger.
Really likable in and out of the ring.

Great win for Jai. I guess it raises the question, should boxrec display when the zuffa or ring belt on records.

On top of watching this live, I squandered another hour waking up before the chief support. I hope this fight is competitive.

Benn just doing up his gloves, feel that’s not an ideal warm up time, then be big walk ins and stuff. I’m putting a small bet on Garcia early, (weight drained? Caught cold? (I mean Mabey he will warm up good and there’s just going to be a delay)

Managed to get Opetaia at 2.40 in play; just £20. I think it was the end of the 3rd when Mik apologised, which I often feel is a sign of someone trying to unprod the beast when it happens early, revealing doubts they can last under greater pressure. Thought Opetaia might be content to cruise it as it went on though.

I've heard of UFC fighters putting on 20lbs after weigh-ins but haven't really known it in boxing.

I thought Benn looked pretty good on the scales and seemed to have plenty of energy. I think Benn has learned a lot from Eubank Jnr who was very good at the self-promotion and mind games in the build-up to both of their fights. It's all good for the clicks and comments, isn't it?
I thought Connor looked positively skeletonian on the scales, plus the rehydration lies and he we will 100% not have a 12 round gas tank.

Garcia is at his highest weight and grown in to it over time. Ryan is also just a better boxer

I just have a feeling Benn will stop him.

I can't see this going 12 to be honest either.

Damn!

Benn playing mind games

We know Garcia is naturally the smaller man.

Wonder how much Benn actually is.

I don’t believe he’s pumped up to 180 pounds
